Sarah Ferguson experienced more than a few scandals after she and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor (formerly known as Prince Andrew) tied the knot.

While the exes were still married, she had the very public toe-sucking scandal. Then, following their divorce, Sarah was caught on camera talking about accepting a large sum of money to give a reporter (posing as a businessman) access to her ex-husband. But it’s her association with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, after she publicly claimed she cut ties with him, that has been her biggest downfall.

Fergie and Andrew’s links to Epstein have cost them their Duke and Duchess of York titles. They’ve lost their Royal Lodge home, their patronages with charities, and their reputations. But Sarah reportedly has a new plan to revive her image and rebrand herself.

Here’s more on that, plus what her former pal now says about Fergie being “greedy” among other things.

Sarah’s former friend says she is ‘greedy, grabby, and grubby’

What really did Sarah in is the 2011 email to Epstein, in which she called him her “steadfast, generous, and supreme friend” and continued to ask him for more money after she publicly distanced herself from him.

A spokesperson for Fergie said that she only wrote that because Espstein threatened to sue her for defamation. But that claim did not save her from being dropped by her charities.

Now, someone formerly close to Sarah isn’t surprised by what the emails show, insisting the former duchess cannot be trusted.

In the Daily Mail, journalist Christopher Wilson wrote: “Greedy, grabby, and grubby. That’s the verdict on the former Duchess of York, who, according to someone who got too close to her, will ‘take everything — then bite your hand off to get the rings as well.’”

Sarah’s terrible decisions have left her essentially homeless, as she and Andrew were told to leave Royal Lodge. Now, it’s believed that Fergie will relocate to where her youngest daughter resides six months out of the year. She’ll allegedly rebuild and rebrand there.

Wilson shared, “Despite the ominous ‘E’ word, Sarah seems certain all is not lost; public favor, she feels, can be hers once again with her planned rebrand as a ‘global empowerment leader.'”

He explained that Sarah is likely to move to Portugal, where Princess Eugenie lives, as she splits her time between there and the U.K. for her husband Jack Brooksbank’s job.

“She’ll relocate to Portugal, write books on ‘confidence and resilience,’ embark on lecture tours, and speak at women’s leadership and wellness events. But what credentials could earn her this new title?” Wilson questioned.

Sources have said Sarah will stay in a “grand suite” at Eugenie and Brooksbank’s villa in Portugal. Some reports suggest her arrival could be as early as January 2026. As for Andrew, he’s moving to a private estate near the royal family’s Sandringham House in Norfolk. Unlike Sarah, who may try to make a comeback, Andrew’s life under the royal spotlight is effectively over for good.
