Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Assistant Alleged the Mogul Wanted to Kill Kid Cudi
A number of celebrities have been named in relation to Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial, including Kid Cudi. The artist, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, reportedly got on Combs’ bad side after becoming involved with Cassie Ventura, Combs’ on-and-off-again girlfriend. Mescudi testified against Combs, and others have shared testimony about Combs’ problems with him. Combs’ former assistant alleged that he wanted to kill Mescudi.

Combs’ former assistant, Capricorn Clark, testified at Combs’ trial. She recalled that in 2011, Combs learned about the relationship between Mescudi and Ventura. Clark said she opened her door at her home to find an angry Combs standing there with a gun.
“He was livid, furious, mad at me,” Clark said, per People.
Clark said that Combs seemed furious that no one had told him about the relationship. “Why didn’t you tell me?” he continually asked. Clark said Combs began demanding information about Mescudi.
“Get dressed, we’re going to go kill,” Clark alleged Combs said to her.
She pushed back against him, but Combs insisted. He allegedly told her that he didn’t care what she wanted.
“I had never seen him with a weapon, I had never seen him making me do something like this,” Clark said.
When Mescudi testified, he said Clark called him to tell him Combs broke into his home.

During Mescudi’s testimony, he said he raced home after hearing Combs was in his house. He called Combs on the way, and the mogul said he wanted to talk to Mescudi. He agreed to wait at the house.
When Mescudi got there, however, he said there was no one at the house. Still, he testified that it seemed someone had been there. Holiday presents on the kitchen counter had been unwrapped and someone had locked his dog in the bathroom.
Mescudi said he filed a police report and spent Christmas with Ventura and her family. Combs called him several times, but he wanted nothing to do with him.
“You broke into my house,” he recalled saying, per NPR. “You messed with my dog. I don’t want to talk to you.”
Ventura testified that Combs also made threats about Mescudi. She alleged that he told her he was going to blow up Mescudi’s car. Someone later threw a Molotov cocktail at it.
Mescudi said his relationship with Ventura eventually ended because he felt he was in danger.
Other witnesses will testify anonymously
Though Ventura and Mescudi testified under their own names, a number of other witnesses will not. The case includes three other alleged victims who will testify anonymously to protect their identities.
These witnesses will be introduced to the jury under a pseudonym. For example, a former assistant of Combs testified anonymously under the name “Mia.”
