Cassie Ventura’s November 2023 lawsuit feels like the catalyst to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ downfall. Her lawsuit was the first of dozens to be filed and predated his criminal arrest by nearly a year. The lawsuit has been mentioned multiple times during Diddy’s sex trafficking and racketeering scandal. His former assistant, Brendan Paul, brought it up again. Paul recently testified that Diddy changed his behavior following the suit; he stopped hosting “Wild King Night” parties at hotels.

What is a Wild King Night?

Philip Pines first mentioned Wild King Night parties in his civil lawsuit against Diddy. Pines revealed he was often tasked with cleaning up after Diddy and his guests at the parties, including removing blood and bodily fluids from hotel rooms before housekeeping saw the damage. After he left the organization, the job went to other assistants.

While also an orgy of sorts, Wild King Night parties were different from the Freak Off events that were heavily discussed in the days following Diddy’s arrest. Although separate, the two types of sex parties initiated by Diddy had a lot in common, including the use of drugs and aphrodisiacs to keep participants going for hours and, sometimes, days.

The parties did differ in one key way. Wild King Night parties often took place at Hotels. At least, they did at one point. Brendan Paul recently testified that Diddy changed his behavior in 2023.

The parties were moved to a different location after Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit

Brendan Paul has shared a lot about his time working as a personal assistant for Diddy while on the stand. Testifying under an immunity deal, Paul shared a lot of information about Diddy’s “Wild King Night” parties.

For weeks, testimony has made it sound like Diddy believed he was untouchable for years. Clearly, that was not the case. At the very least, he saw the writing on the wall after Venutra’s lawsuit. According to CNN, Paul told jurors that Diddy changed the location of his parties after Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit. The parties were moved from hotels to other locations so as not to arouse suspicion. Paul said he was tasked with cleaning up and setting up for a few of the infamous parties, but never attended one.

Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against Diddy in November 2023, years after ending her tumultuous romance with the music mogul. Ventura accused the mogul of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. Diddy settled the suit for $20 million a day after it was filed.
