Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Is ‘Dreaming’ of Kanye West Making Comeback When He Gets Out of Jail
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been in jail since the fall of 2024, and one of his only supporters is Kanye West. Combs went on trial in May 2025 for charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. If convicted, he faces up to life in prison. Still, he seemed to have high hopes for his prospect of seeing the outside world again during a conversation with West. Combs said that “when” he gets out of jail, he wants to see West at the top of his career.

In a recorded phone conversation with West, Combs encouraged the Chicago-born rapper to “get behind the mic, have some fun, chop up them samples, get back on your hitman vibe, have some fun, get back to smiling” (via The Independent).
Combs said that when he got out of jail, one of the things he looked forward to most was seeing West perform.
“So put that love in your heart, and enjoy yourself, man,” he said. “When I get out there, man, I want to see you f***ing tear down the stadiums. I need to see you back on that stage, actually rapping and actually performing and everything. I be dreaming of that s***.”
West told Combs that he was enjoying making music again before telling him he was going to “beat this s***.” West is one of a very small group of celebrities who have supported Combs after his arrest.
