Cassie Ventura recently testified at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ trial. The pair dated on and off for years, and her 2023 lawsuit against him led, at least in part, to his eventual arrest. Those who know Combs and Ventura have also testified about their relationship. Ventura’s former stylist, Deonte Nash, testified about the alleged lengths to which Combs went in order to control Ventura.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs allegedly wanted complete control over Cassie Ventura

During recent testimony, Nash shared his memories of Combs and Ventura’s relationship. He alleged that Combs once flew into a violent rage when Ventura didn’t answer her phone and called her home from a club when she was with friends.  Combs allegedly told her “she better bring her a** to his house,” (per The New York Post). Nash said a panicked Ventura complied.

According to Nash, Combs didn’t want Ventura to go out without his permission. He also had Nash, her stylist, go to him for approval on outfits and styling. He alleged that Combs once became violent because Ventura wore her hair down for the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscars party.

“She looked bomb … Her hair was long,” Nash said, alleging that Combs told then him: “I thought I told you to keep her hair up.”

Nash testified that Combs used threats to get Ventura to do as he said.

“[He told her] that he would beat her a**,” he said. “That he wouldn’t put her music out. That he would get her parents fired from her jobs and that he would send her sex tapes to their jobs.”

Combs has denied the allegations against him. If convicted, he faces life in prison.
