Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco Do Not ‘Attend to the Things That Need Maintenance’ in Their Relationship
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco‘s names have been in the headlines a lot lately.
The couple, who were married in September 2025, have shared glimpses into their relationship with fans since they got together. But people haven’t been able to stop gushing about one gesture Blanco did for Gomez recently.
In July 2026, when the songstress was filming season six of Only Murders in the Building in London, Blanco went to visit his wife for her birthday. But he didn’t hope on a plane to get from California to the U.K. That’s because he has a fear of flying.
Blanco took to TikTok and let fans know that he actually traveled there by boat.
“POV: Ur traveling across the Atlantic in the Titanic to see ur wife bc ur scared of flying,” the music producer wrote over the video, adding, “The things we do for love.”
When he reached his bride, Blanco shared a carousel of photos and captioned the Instagram post, “My beautiful wife … i’ll carry u wherever u wanna go forever … happy birthday my love.”
Just about everyone can agree that these two seem like one of the most compatible couples, so what do their Life Path numbers reveal about their relationship?
According to Numerologist.com, with Life Path numbers of 5 (Gomez) and 1 (Blanco), they share a “quality of mutual recognition that’s real and matters. What takes longer to notice is that they’ve both found each other’s best quality — independence, aliveness, forward motion — and neither has yet negotiated who’s going to build the things that keep a life functional when both people are always moving.”
Two forward-moving people often forget to build “grounding. Neither naturally attends to the things that need maintenance rather than initiation — the domestic infrastructure, financial consistency, the slow work of staying present to something after the newness has passed.
“Two people who are both oriented toward what’s next can inadvertently build a relationship that’s always departing but never quite arriving. The practical fix is making groundedness an explicit priority rather than assuming it will sort itself out.”
That said, “This is one of the more harmonious pairings in the system. Both numbers are active and outward-moving, so they share a fundamental directional quality that creates ease … The attraction is natural; the long-term architecture requires intention from both of you.
“The easiest thing about this pairing is that neither requires the other to be something they’re not. The 1 doesn’t need the 5 to be more stable than they are. The 5 doesn’t need the 1 to be more spontaneous than they are.”
