Selena Gomez Felt ‘Betrayed’ by Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham After Her Wedding
After a period of publicly showing off their friendship, Selena Gomez appears to be at odds with Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham. The couple met Gomez in 2022, and they quickly began spending a great deal of time together, with Gomez calling herself their forever plus one. They even got tattoos together. Recently, though, fans have noticed distance between them. Gomez is reportedly frustrated with them after they failed to reach out to her about her wedding.

Gomez married producer Benny Blanco on Sept. 27. A number of celebrities attended the celebration, but Beckham and Peltz were notably missing. It’s not clear whether Gomez did not invite the couple or they declined to attend. She reportedly feels hurt that they haven’t reached out to her about it, though.
“Selena isn’t expecting anything at all from Nicola and Brooklyn anymore, there is a feeling of something broken and the fact that they didn’t even send a message to congratulate her and Benny for their wedding is something that really did hurt her,” a source told the Daily Mail. “The fact that Nicola and Brooklyn didn’t show any effort or even a bit of love to her and her husband in that wonderful time was very, very disappointing.”
Even though their friendship isn’t as close as it was, Gomez still reportedly feels hurt by the snub.
“Selena is someone that really is 100% when she is in a friendship, and she feels like she’s been betrayed,” the source added.

Other sources say that there is no drama between Gomez, Peltz, and Beckham. They just aren’t as close as they once were.
“There’s no drama. Selena’s wedding was an intimate, private celebration with her inner circle,” a source said. “Relationships evolve, and while she and Nicola aren’t as close these days, there’s nothing but well wishes.”
Another source claimed that the former friends drifted apart. There was no one event that fractured their relationship.
“There’s no bad blood,” a source told People. “Relationships evolve, and it’s true they’re not as close as they once were, but there wasn’t any one thing that happened. There’s nothing but love and well wishes from them for Selena and Benny.”

While Peltz and Beckham were not present at Gomez’s wedding, many other celebrities were in attendance. Guests included Steve Martin, Martin Short, Paul Rudd, Drew Barrymore, and Zoe Saldaña. Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift both spoke at the wedding.
“Taylor gave an extremely heartfelt speech at the wedding,” a source told Us Weekly. “She went into depth and talked about how over the years she saw Selena on the floor crying, mentioning exes, Selena having a broken heart and saying how happy she is that Selena has Benny now.”
People in attendance said the wedding had a warm, loving atmosphere.
