In a recent Instagram comment, Sex and the City star Chris Noth slammed Sarah Jessica Parker. While Noth didn’t say anything directly inflammatory himself, he agreed with something negative a fan posted about Parker. This remark comes several years after Noth was cut from the revival series And Just Like That… following multiple allegations of sexual assault.

Chris Noth posted a dig at Sarah Jessica Parker

In a recent Instagram post, Noth shared a photo of himself at the gym with the caption, “F*** new years – LETS GO!!!!”

In the comments, one fan wrote, “You mean f— sjp & her award right? Lol.”

Parker recently received the 2026 Carol Burnett Award at the Golden Globes for her contributions to television. Noth responded to the fan’s comment and simply said, “Right.”

While a number of fans in Noth’s comments were supportive, others have jumped to Parker’s defense. Many have accused him of holding on to bitterness because he was cut from And Just Like That… following accusations of sexual assault. At the time, Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis put out a joint statement commending the women who came forward against Noth.

“We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences,” they wrote. “We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”

Noth denied the allegations against him. He claimed that his interactions with the women were consensual.

Chris Noth and Sarah Jessica Parker filmed more scenes together before his departure from the series

In the first season of And Just Like That… Noth’s character, Mr. Big, dies suddenly in the premiere episode. In the Season 1 finale, Parker’s character, Carrie Bradshaw, travels to Paris and scatters Big’s ashes in the Seine.

At the time, sources told TVLine that Noth originally filmed this scene with Parker. The scene would have taken on a fantasy element in which Big appeared to Carrie. The creative team ultimately cut his performance. The finale was not complete at the time that the allegations against Noth surfaced.

She previously spoke about having a co-star speak poorly about her

Long before Noth’s apparent feud with Parker, she was at odds with co-star Kim Cattrall. The pair have feuded for years. While Parker largely remained tight-lipped on her relationship with her co-star, Cattrall publicly slammed her after she offered condolences after her brother died.

In 2022, Parker opened up about her relationship with Cattrall, noting that things between them began to deteriorate in 2017, when plans for a third Sex and the City movie fell apart. Cattrall has also said that she thinks Parker could have been nicer on set.

“I’ve spent a lot of years working really hard to always be decent to everybody on the set, to take care of people, to be responsible to and for people, both my employers and the people that I feel I’m responsible for as a producer of the show,” Parker said on the Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast. “And there just isn’t anyone else who’s ever talked about me this way, so it’s very painful.”

She added that she feels the feud between them is almost entirely one-sided.

“There is not a ‘fight’ going on. There has been no public dispute or spat or conversations or allegations made by me or anybody on my behalf,” she said. “I wouldn’t do it. That is not the way I would have it. So I just wish that they would stop calling this a ‘catfight’ or an ‘argument,’ because it doesn’t reflect actually — there has been one person talking.”
