What Started Nicki Minaj’s Feud With Gucci Mane’s Wife?
Nicki Minaj is no stranger to online feuds, and she recently turned her ire on Keyshia Ka’Oir, Gucci Mane’s wife. In a recent interview on The Breakfast Club, Gucci Mane and Ka’Oir spoke about managing the rapper’s diagnosis of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. This prompted Minaj to target Ka’Oir in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).

On Oct. 20, Gucci Mane and Ka’Oir spoke openly about his mental health while promoting his new memoir, Episodes. In the book, he revealed he sought help after a mental health episode in 2020. Minaj responded to the interview by taking aim at Ka’Oir in a social media post.
“Gucci wife has been trying to be me for years,” she wrote. “Been dying for the spotlight for years. She’s there to keep Gucci sedated. Gucci hates [talent manager] Debra Antney. They don’t want Deb around me. She’s around me now.”
She also called out Breakfast Club host Charlamagne tha God and Jay-Z.
“Charlamane the fraud (Jay-z friend & business associate) using iHeartRadio for these disgusting ploys against innocent families,” she wrote. “He was around Wendy [Williams] b4 her life went to hell. The buck stops here baby. Bookmark this tweet. Yall really do not understand who I really am. Bring it :) Let’s play. Yall wanted attention? Let’s do it.”
In a late-night stream of X Spaces several days later, Minaj continued to go after Ka’Oir. She accused her of seeking attention, being a narcissist, and controlling Gucci Mane. She also made fun of her for having an allergic reaction.
“You dishonored your husband. You do not honor Gucci Mane,” she said, per Complex, adding, “You do not honor him. People who have eyes to see, and really see, know what you did to him and why you did it that day.”
Ka’Oir appeared to respond to Minaj’s taunts by posting a photo of herself with the song “On The News” by Young Thug and Cardi B. The song features the line, “I’m like nah… since when… out here embarrassing.” Minaj has also been at odds with Cardi for years.
