Sukanya Krishnan Says the Cast of ‘Sister Wives’ Can Have Her Fired As the Tell-All Host
Sukanya Krishnan has spent the last several years accepting criticism for failing to ask the Brown family difficult questions during the Sister Wives tell-all episodes. Fans have accused the journalist of favoritism. Others have argued that she just isn’t doing her job. For the first time, Krishnan revealed the reason why she is limited in what she can ask Kody Brown and his wife and ex-wives. The family has the right to have her fired, and they likely did just that to the tell-all’s previous host, Tamron Hall, when her questions got a bit too hot to handle
Sukanya Krishnan revealed the reason for her ‘soft’ interview style
Sukanya Krishnan has been hosting the Sister Wives tell-all episodes since 2022. While she’s likable and easy going, not everyone is thrilled with her interview style. Fans are critical of Krishnan for being “too soft” on the Browns and failing to ask them any difficult questions. Krishnan explained why she approaches her interviews the way she does during a recent podcast appearance.
Sukanya Krishnan appeared on Sister Wives Professor to talk all things tell-all. During her chat, she revealed that the Brown family has been pretty adamant about not answering difficult questions. Krishnana basically implied that the Browns could be uncooperative enough to make an interview impossible, which could lead ot her dismissal. She has leaned toward getting the interview done rather than consistently pelting them with difficult questions they are unlikely to answer anyway.
Tamron Hall was fired for being ‘too tough’
While some critics are still questioning whether Krishnan is telling the truth, it has happened before. Tamron Hall previously hosted the Sister Wives tell-all episodes. While fans largely enjoyed her interview style and the questions she asked, not everyone was pleased. Hall, on her show The Tamron Hall Show, discussed her dismissal from the tell-all during an April 2025 interview.
Hall revealed that she was “really hurt” to be fired because she was proud of the work that was produced. She told Meri Brown, who was the episode’s guest, that “some” members of the family didn’t like her interview style and believed she was being “too tough.” Hall theorized that her line of questioning about the Brown family’s “legal restructuring” struck a nerve. While Hall didn’t name names, it was clear she was referring to Kody Brown and Robyn Brown. Some critics believe Christine Brown also took issue with the questions that Hall posed at the time.
