Online sleuths recently made a pretty big assumption about Tamar Braxton and Birdman. Rumors have been swirling out of control, and the family’s show, The Braxtons, is actually to blame. In one episode, Towanda Braxton levied a pretty serious allegation against her sister.
She accused Tamar of sleeping with her sister’s partner, and social media exploded. Towanda never named any names, but fans ran with it. They were quick to suggest Towanda was revealing a secret afair Tamar Braxton had with Bridman, who is married to Toni Braxton. After all, murmurs of an affair have been swirling for years, especially after Tamar served as something of a stand-in for her sister at an event.
She swats down rumors
Tamar Braxton won’t be letting people assume she hooked up with her sister’s husband. While the Braxtons have largely let rumors go and rarely address all of the chatter on social media about them, the affair rumor is one that Tamar is refusing to let slide. During a recent appearance on Sherri, she addressed the allegations.
Sherri Shepherd asked Tamar directly if the allegations that he slept with her sister’s husband were true. She called the claims preposterous and explained that she had actually introduced Birdman and Toni Braxton after years of being friends with him. She revealed that there was never anything romantic between herself and Birdman, despite their longstanding friendship. Their close bond continued even after Birdman began dating Toni Braxton and even survived the couple’s breakup and spats.
