Taylor Frankie Paul Under Investigation for 3rd Domestic Violence Incident
Allegations of domestic violence against Taylor Frankie Paul threatened to undermine her season of The Bachelorette before leaked footage of a separate incident led to its cancellation. Now, allegations regarding a third separate incident between Paul and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, have come to light. Police are looking into the new allegations against the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star.
Taylor Frankie Paul’s third domestic violence allegation comes to light
In 2023, police arrested Paul following an altercation between herself and Mortensen. Recently leaked footage of the incident shows Paul hitting and choking Mortensen before throwing chairs at him. Her daughter was present in the room at the time.
Paul received misdemeanor charges of assault, criminal mischief, and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child. She pleaded guilty to the charge of aggravated assault, and the other charges were dropped.
This February, just months after she wrapped her season of The Bachelorette, Paul and Mortensen made allegations against each other regarding incidents on Feb. 24 and 25. Police are still looking into the matter.
Now, a third incident has come to light. Per NBC News, Mortensen contacted the West Jordan, Utah, Police Department last month. He made allegations against Paul regarding a 2024 incident. Investigators have reportedly spoken to Paul’s attorneys, but they have not had a conversation with her yet. They are currently reviewing a series of videos of the incident to determine a timeline.
Neither Paul nor Mortensen has publicly commented on this incident at this time.
