Taylor Swift’s wedding is likely still a long way away, but her bridal jewelry is already making waves. After Swift revealed pictures of her engagement ring, searches for old mine-cut diamonds skyrocketed. In a recent public appearance, Swift wore two diamond wedding bands on her left hand. A jewelry expert shared how this is rewriting the rules of bridal styling.

Taylor Swift’s bridal jewelry is pushing boundaries, says a jewelry expert

In her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Swift wore two diamond eternity bands from A.Jaffe on her left index finger. They sparkled alongside her massive diamond engagement ring.

“By wearing two diamond eternity bands alongside her engagement ring ahead of the ceremony, Taylor Swift is rewriting the rules of bridal styling — turning what’s usually a post-wedding symbol into a fashion statement in its own right,” Nilesh Rakholia, founder of Abelini, tells Showbiz Cheat Sheet in an emailed statement. “It’s unconventional, but very in keeping with Taylor’s approach to style: playful, layered, and always personal.”

He said the two bands Swift picked spoke volumes.

“Taylor’s choices are particularly interesting — she’s not stacking just any bands but two distinct styles from A.Jaffe: the East West Set Pear Shaped Eternity Band and the East West Marquise Eternity Band,” Rakholia said. “The east-west pears ripple softly around the finger like drops of light, creating a fluid, ribbon-like sparkle, while the marquise diamonds punctuate the design with a sharper, sculptural edge. Worn together, the two bands feel like a duet — different voices in perfect harmony — giving the stack a rhythm of light that’s playful yet refined.”

Rakholia noted that eternity bands symbolize “unbroken commitment and infinity,” which Swift emphasized by wearing two of them.

“Paired with her old mine-cut engagement ring — a cut rich with history and character — the effect is a modern conversation between past and future,” he said. “She’s mixing history, fashion, sentiment, and personality.”

Taylor Swift’s bridal jewelry is worth a massive amount of money

Any fans hoping to emulate a similar style to Swift may have to search for dupes. Her two wedding bands likely cost a small fortune.

“A.Jaffe’s designs start at 1.05 carats for the pear eternity band and 2.5 carats for the marquise, but Taylor’s versions are almost certainly larger, custom-made pieces,” Rakholia said. “Based on her profile and the scale of her engagement ring, the two bands together are likely to be valued between £35,000 and £60,000 (approximately $42,000–$72,000).”

When paired with her engagement ring, the jewelry on her left hand alone could cost close to $1 million.

“Her old mine-cut engagement ring, meanwhile, could easily sit in the high six figures — even up to £820,000 (around $1 million), depending on quality,” Rakholia estimated. “But as with so much of Taylor’s jewelry, the real power lies not in the numbers, but in the narrative she’s creating.”

Swift said she loves her engagement ring

Swift’s old mine-cut engagement ring has been a hit amongst her fans. She said she thinks fiancé Travis Kelce did a great job with it.

“He customized [the ring] and designed it with this amazing jeweler,” she said, per People. “I look at it constantly, like it doesn’t feel in any way normal for me. I’m just like, ‘Man, whoa.’”
