Taylor Swift Dropped a ‘Major Hint’ That 1 Artist Will Feature on Her New Album, Say Betting Experts
Taylor Swift just announced she has another album on the way, and people are already wondering if she’ll collaborate with other artists. In the past, Swift has worked with artists like Brendan Urie, Kendrick Lamar, and Lana Del Rey. According to betting experts, one singer is the clear front-runner in terms of the probability of appearing on the album.
Taylor Swift announced she has a new album on the way
In a teaser for Jason and Travis Kelce’s podcast New Heights, Swift announced that she is releasing a new album called The Life of a Showgirl. She showed a blurred over image of her album in the video, released at 12:12 a.m. ET on Aug. 12.
Fans can listen to the podcast on Aug. 13, and the album is already available for pre-sale. While the release date is not yet available, any pre-ordered albums will ship by Oct. 13. The Life of a Showgirl will be Swift’s 12th studio album.
Betting experts say 1 artist has the highest odds of appearing on Taylor Swift’s new album
On Aug. 11, Taylor Nation, Swift’s marketing team, posted a series of 12 photos to their Instagram account with the caption “Thinking about when she said ‘See you next era…’”
The images depict Swift in various orange outfits during her Eras Tour. The first 11 photos show Swift alone, but the 12th shows her singing alongside Sabrina Carpenter. Betting experts from VegasInsider.com see this as a major hint that Carpenter could feature on the album.
“A major hint was dropped leading up to Swift’s album announcement snippet, which points to the fact that Sabrina Carpenter might very well be featured on The Life of a Showgirl,” they say. “In a carousel of photos hinting at the album announcement posted by Taylor Nation, Taylor Swift’s official fan engagement team, the last photo portrays Carpenter and Swift performing together during The Eras Tour, and Carpenter is the only guest featured in the carousel. Since it is heavily rumored that Swift’s 12th album will be very much pop-centered, Sabrina Carpenter would certainly be an amazing addition to the project.”
They note that Carpenter has the highest odds of featuring on Swift’s new album, placing the probability at 60%.
Several other artists could possibly appear on the record
While Carpenter has the greatest odds of appearing on the album, other artists might also collaborate with Swift. Betting experts say Ed Sheeran has the second highest odds at 15%. He has already collaborated with Swift multiple times in the past, including on the song “End Game.”
“What makes Sheeran’s odds of appearing on Taylor Swift’s new album even higher is the fact that ‘End Game’ is the only collaboration that is included in a new Spotify playlist, which was shared by Taylor Swift after the new album announcement snippet; this could be a coincidence, but in the Taylor Swift universe, it might as well be an Easter egg for a new Ed Sheeran feature.”
Other potential collaborators are Selena Gomez at 10% probability and Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, both at 5% probability.
