Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce nearly broke the internet when they dropped their engagement news.
The pop superstar and Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared with the world that they are going to tie the knot with a carousel of Instagram pics showing the two embracing, as well as a closeup of the “Karma” singer’s ring and the playful caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
And while it’s only been a few weeks since their announcement, sources have said that Swift is already in wedding planning mode, and what’s been happening regarding a dress for the big day has surprised her.

Sources who spoke to US Weekly said that while the wedding planning is underway it’s still in the early stages stressing that as of now, “There is no venue or location set yet.” As for the date, it is likely to take place “early next year.”
According to the publication’s sources, “Swift has been ‘having so much fun researching venues and locations. She’s in the ideation phase and enjoying it because she’s so creative … [The wedding] will be private with friends and family, not a ton of celebrities or random people. It will be meaningful, and they will be surrounded by people who are special to them.”
However, the insiders have revealed that the “Love Story” hitmaker is pretty “blown away and overwhelmed” with the endless flood of dress offers she has gotten, noting that several top designers have been reaching out to her team about creating her wedding gown.
