Taylor Swift has been a mainstay at NFL games since she started dating Travis Kelce. The singer made their relationship public at a game against the Chicago Bears and has constantly been spotted on camera ever since. Now, though, she’s hoping to make less of a splash when she attends his games. Swift is reportedly hoping that the NFL doesn’t show much of her anymore.

Taylor Swift hopes the NFL won’t show her as much

Swift is one of the most famous people on the planet, so her presence at games draws a lot of attention. She wants to keep a lower profile at games this year, though. A source told the Daily Mail that she “has wanted to feel much more protected this year with her security, especially with her current stalker issues.” She recently received a restraining order against a stalker.

As a result, she “doesn’t want her whereabouts known every minute of the day” and “she wants to be safe, and she wants her family and friends to be safe.” Because of this, she has reportedly “asked the NFL and the various networks to stop showing her on TV during any of the Chiefs games.”

She’s managed to keep a lower profile at games this season.

Taylor Swift encouraged Travis Kelce to continue playing in the NFL

While attending her fiancé’s games has caused some problems for Swift, she likes to see him playing in the NFL. Kelce is reportedly nearing retirement, but Swift has encouraged him to continue playing for a bit longer.

“She’s fully encouraging me to enjoy playing this game,” Kelce told Stephen A. Smith. “She loves coming to Arrowhead and coming to the game and cheering for me. So, I got all the support in the world to keep chasing these dreams.”

Still, Kelce admitted that he might be nearing the end of his time with the Kansas City Chiefs.

“I love everything that I’m doing in this building, but at the end of the day, I’m not having that extreme success on the field as I have individually. … I’ll reevaluate it like I always do, and I’ll probably tell myself how much I love this thing, and I’ll come back next year. But it’s something you have to keep in perspective. I never want to get to the point where I’m not helping this team win or I’m hurting this team more than I’m helping this team.”

She worries about her safety due to her stalkers

Swift has dealt with multiple stalkers over the years. She recently received a five-year restraining order against her alleged stalker, Brian Jason Wagner. He allegedly visited her home.

“During each of these visits, I am informed that Mr. Wagner made various statements about living at my property (not true), being in a relationship with me (not true), believing I am the mother of his son (not true), and needing to see me in person, all of which are untrue and disconnected from reality,” Swift said in the petition, per Rolling Stone.

Swift noted that Wagner made her fear for her safety.

“The fact that both of these recent visits and Mr. Wagner’s inappropriate and threatening communications to my staff about me have escalated in recent weeks creates a fear of imminent harm,” she said.

Wagner cannot contact Swift and must surrender firearms, ammunition, and body armor.
