Taylor Swift’s Incredibly Sweet Gesture on Christmas Day Revealed by Employee Who Works at Stadium Where the Chiefs Play
Taylor Swift was on hand to watch her fiancé, Travis Kelce, play on Christmas Day at Arrowhead Stadium in what could possibly be his last NFL game.
The Kansas City Chiefs fell to the Denver Broncos as the team nears the end of a disappointing year in which they did not make the playoffs for the first time since 2014 and lost quarterback Patrick Mahomes late in the season to an ACL injury.
But despite things not going the Chiefs’ way, Swift made sure to spread some holiday cheer to the employees who were working on Christmas Day.
Robyn Gentry, who works as a catering attendant at Arrowhead Stadium and was there on Christmas, posted about Swift’s gesture in a Facebook group dedicated to the singer, which was then reposted on other platforms like X.com.
Gentry recalled that “[Swift] was running around telling everyone ‘Merry Christmas’ and came towards me, saying ‘Thank you so much for working on Christmas, please take this. Merry Christmas.'”
Gentry revealed that Swift handed her several bills, totaling $600.
“My mind just froze,” she remembered. “Of course I said ‘Merry Christmas and thank you so much.'”
The gift amounted to an extra paycheck that Gentry now has for her and her eight children. But she hasn’t spent the money just yet and decided to frame one of the bills for now.
