Taylor Swift’s Most Likely Maid of Honor, According to Betting Experts

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are headed down the aisle, meaning that Swift needs to pick a maid of honor. The “Cruel Summer” singer has a big group of celebrity friends, but betting experts think someone from outside that world is a more likely choice. Here’s who they anticipate will serve as Swift’s maid of honor. 

Taylor Swift will likely pick a longtime friend as her maid of honor

Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025. Since then, there’s been a great deal of speculation about their wedding, which is sure to be a major celebrity event. While Swift hasn’t revealed any specifics about her big day, fans have already begun to wonder which of her longtime friends could serve as her maid of honor. 

Entertainment betting experts at OLBG tell Showbiz Cheat Sheet that while friends like Selena Gomez, Blake Lively, and Martha Hunt could be in the running, there is one clear frontrunner: Swift’s childhood friend, Abigail Anderson. They note that she has a 50% probability of being the singer’s maid of honor. 

OLBG betting experts also note that there is a 25% chance that Vera Wang designs Swift’s wedding dress. Still, given Swift’s apparent like of Vivienne Westwood, she could potentially choose a gown by the late designer. 

Jake Ashton, an entertainment betting specialist at OLBG, expects the markets to move once Swift and Kelce have spoken more openly about their wedding.

“With wedding planning reportedly paused due to Kelce’s NFL future, these markets could see big movement once clarity emerges,” he said. “If an off-season wedding becomes likely, expect more music-related specials to follow and even possible pregnancy markets in due course.”

At this point, Gomez and Gigi Hadid are reportedly bridesmaids in Swift’s wedding.

How long have Taylor Swift and her potential maid of honor been friends?

Swift and Anderson have been friends since high school. Anderson inspired Swift’s song “Fifteen” and has appeared in several of the singer’s music videos. 

“We were the ones in the back of the class saying negative things about Romeo and Juliet because we were so bitter toward that emotion at the time,” Anderson said on The Ellen Show. “We just really connected…and ever since then, we have been inseparable.”

Swift was also a bridesmaid in Anderson’s first wedding.

The pop star said she wants a big wedding

While Swift has not given many specifics about her upcoming wedding, she did reveal that she wants to invite as many people as possible. Many people will likely want to attend, and she doesn’t want to exclude any of her acquaintances. 

“I’m so excited about it,” she said on The Graham Norton Show. “I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble.”

While there will be many celebrity attendees, the guest list will likely not be clear until after her wedding.
