Taylor Swift has gone makeup-free, and the internet has gone wild.

Swift is known for her bright red lipstick and black cat eyeliner. But in the newly released trailer for her forthcoming The End of an Era docuseries, the star is seen during plenty of makeup-free moments. And fans can’t stop talking about that and how they cannot wait for the series to drop on Dec. 12.

In the trailer, Swift shares, “This show created a bonding experience for, like, 70,000 people all at once. There’s something very special about that. I wanted to overserve the fans in terms of the amount of songs they were going to hear and how far I was going to push myself. My main goal is to give something to the fans that they didn’t expect.”

Here’s more on what Swifties are saying now.

Other times Swift went makeup-free

This is the first time Swift has allowed fans to see her without her signature makeup.

One of the first times was back in 2008, during a behind-the-scenes video from the creation of her “Picture to Burn” music video. “What I like most about shooting videos is that I look a lot different in the ‘Our Song’ video than I do in the ‘Tim McGraw’ video or then I do in the ‘Teardrops On My Guitar’ Video,'” a young, makeup-free Swift says. “I use it as a way to play dress up, because I never really grew out of that.”

Another time Swift was seen sans her made-up look was in 2018 when she shared a pic with her cat Meredith ahead of her first U.K. stadium show.
