Amanda Conner, the second wife of Ryan Edwards, might have some new legal troubles to answer to while she awaits word on the future of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. It seems that Conner, who has made headlines several times since meeting the father of Maci Bookout’s eldest child, was involved in a recent car accident, and police believe she is to blame. Conner is being charged with a misdemeanor in connection with the wreck.

Amanda Conner is set to appear in court soon. The mother of Ryan Edwards’ youngest child has a brand-new case to deal with, according to the Ashley Reality Roundup Group. According to the outlet, Conner is being held responsible for a car accident that occurred on February 3, close to the home she shares with her husband.

Reportedly, Conner caused the wreck when she failed to yield to a driver with the right of way. The accident resulted in injuries, though the seriousness of those injuries remains unknown. She was not arrested at the scene, but was issued a citation and ordered to appear in court. She is set to see a judge at the end of February.

The accident occurred around the same time social media followers began questioning Conner’s sobriety. Several commenters noted an uptick in erratic and aggressive behavior on TikTok and Instagram. Conner insists she is sober and has been for several years.

It is far from her first meeting with police

While Amanda Conner has largely stayed out of trouble since connecting with Ryan Edwards, she is no stranger to the law. In fact, her most recent run-in isn’t the first time she’s been blamed for a serious car accident. Nor is it the first time her driving has been called into question.

According to The U.S. Sun, Conner was cited as at fault for a 2022 car accident that left two women with serious injuries. They attempted to sue the Tennessee native, but she had no home address at the time. They eventually dropped the suit as she could not be located. The same year, she was arrested for driving under the influence, and later landed in rehab alongside Edwards.

Her arrest record prior to linking up with Edwards is pretty long, too. She’s been arrested multiple times in multiple states for theft, drug possession, and driving under the influence. Edwards has had several run-ins with the law, as well.

How and when did Ryan Edwards and Amanda Conner meet?

Amanda Conner and Ryan Edwards met in 2023 when they were placed in the same court-ordered rehab. While it is largely frowned upon for newly sober individuals to start new relationships, they left a halfway house together. The pair moved into a home in the fall of 2023. By January 2025, the pair announced their engagement, despite Edwards still being legally married to Mackenzie Standifer.

In February 2025, they welcomed their first child together and married in September 2025, just weeks after his divorce from Standifer was finalized. While Edwards and Conner appeared together on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, the show is reportedly canceled. Since the end of the season, Conner has been keeping followers updated on her life via social media, though there have been some concerns about her sobriety. Her most recent skirmish with the law isn’t instilling much confidence.
