Teresa Giudice is Going Into Business with Gia Giudice: The Mother-Daughter Duo to Open a Restaurant
Teresa Giudice hasn’t been sitting around waiting for Bravo to call about The Real Housewives of New Jersey. The iconic reality TV villain has been busy, touring the country, making appearances, competing on other shows, and now she’s revealed her latest project. The elder Giudice has been consulting on a restaurant that her daughter, Gia Giudice, is planning to open. Apparently, they are getting pretty close to opening the space in Westwood, New Jersey. Here is everything we know so far.
Gia Giudice and Teresa Giudice have been working on a restaurant
While Gia Giudice has been busy with her own career, she has also been hard at work with her mother, Teresa Giudice. Teresa took to Instagram to announce that she has been consulting with Gia on a new restaurant set to open this spring.
Teresa shared concept pictures on Instagram, as well as a photo of the property mid-renovations. The eatery, to be named Il Vero, will offer an elevated Italian menu for dinner service and a rooftop bar. The restaurant will be located at 170 Center Street in Westwood, New Jersey. The Giudices are working with a family friend and restaurateur on the project.
The move was a long time in the making
While Gia Giudice seems to be leading the charge on the restaurant, it has been a long-held dream for Teresa. The reality TV star has been adamant that she enjoys cooking and had dreams of opening a restaurant years before it became possible. She’s also authored four cookbooks.
While Teresa is a divisive character on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she does seem to genuinely enjoy food, cooking, and feeding those around her. Sure, her cookbooks don’t offer anything particularly groundbreaking or unique, the meals are simple and mostly tasty. While Teresa has shown an interest in food, Gia really hasn’t. The 24-year-old’s decision to lead the charge has come as a bit of a surprise to fans who have been following her journey, first on Bravo and then on social media.
