This Is What Timothée Chalamet Confessed to Kylie Jenner at the Oscars, According to a Lip Reader
Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner attended the Academy Awards together and looked plenty cozy during the event and at Oscar parties. A private moment between the pair during the ceremony is being analyzed. According to a lip reader, the pair might not have been having such a great time. Chalamet made a shocking admission and apparently was looking forward to going home.
Timothée Chalamet told Kylie Jenner, “I hate this” at the Oscars, claims lip reader
Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner looked stunning together on the red carpet and at the 98th annual Academy Awards. They reportedly enjoyed their time at the parties associated with the awards show as well. The time they spent at the actual ceremony apparently could have gone better for Chalamet, though.
Lip reader, Nicola Hickling, interpreted the couple’s Oscar chatter for the Daily Mail. Hickling told the outlet that at one point, Chalamet leaned over and told Jenner, “I hate this.” From there, she tried to comfort him, telling the nominee, “We’re alright, ok?” He later told his longtime love that he needed a “big cuddle” later.
While it’s unclear why Chalamet was so uneasy, it could have been the anticipation of his upcoming category. The conversation happened before the best actor winner was revealed. It was the third time the actor was nominated in the category. While Chalamet is the youngest actor since Marlon Brando to be nominated for the category three times, he has yet to walk away with a win.
Did he lose the category because of his comments on the ballet and opera?.
Timothée Chalamet might not have been a big fan of award shows while he sat inside the arena, and he was probably even less of a fan by the time the evening ended. Chalamet, who was touted as a heavy favorite to win Best Actor for his work in Marty Supreme, ultimately lost. Michael B. Jordan took home the coveted trophy for his work on Sinners.
While some critics would like to think the actor’s comments about the ballet and opera had a little something to do with the humbling experience, they likely didn’t. Chalamet made the comments before voting closed, but no one really heard about it until after the votes were in. In short, Chalamet had lost the award before he disparaged dancers and opera singers. One has to wonder how those comments might affect his chances of winning the award moving forward, though.
