After Tiger Woods’ most recent DUI crash and arrest, there were reports about how it affected the golfer‘s relationship with his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump.

Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law has just broken her silence and is supporting her man. Vanessa took to her Instagram Stories on April 3 and wrote “Love you” as the caption of a photo of her and Woods.

But while Vanessa is now confirming her support, insiders claim the couple spent days after Woods’ arrest fighting over the next steps. Multiple sources who spoke to the Daily Mail say that Vanessa wasn’t pleased with how their discussions went just after the incident.

“She has gone from concern to anger,” the Mail’s sources said. “She was like ‘let’s solve this together,’ and his response was basically ‘yeah, yeah, yeah, I got it. It’s fine. It’s under control.’ And she’s like ‘it is so obviously not under control.'”

The insiders added that Vanessa was insulted by how her boyfriend responded and “angry” because of her own safety concerns as she and her children have traveled in a car with Woods behind the wheel plenty of times.

This crash and DUI is the latest for Woods, who had an accident in 2009, a DUI in 2017, and a crash that badly injured him in 2021.

On March 27, 2026, Woods was driving through his Jupiter Island neighborhood when he allegedly clipped a truck that was in front of him, causing his Land Rover to roll over. He was not injured in the crash and was arrested at the scene on suspicion of a DUI.

Woods was transported to the Martin County Jail, where he took a breathalyzer test that confirmed he was not under the influence of alcohol, but refused a urinalysis test, which resulted in the charges. He has pleaded not guilty.

Over the last year, I have come to deeply appreciate Tiger not only for his impact on the game, but for his friendship and the perspective he has shared with me as I joined the golf industry. My thoughts are with him and his family as he takes this step, for which he has my full respect and support.”
