Todd and Julie Chrisley’s prison release shocked the world. They were also quite surprised by it. Despite that, it hasn’t taken the former reality TV couple long to get back into the swing of things. While they are busy planning their future, we are just now learning some of the more minor details of their release. The duo revealed what their first post-prison meals were. While both opted for fast food, they enjoyed meals from different eateries.

Todd Chrisley chose Pizza Hut as his first post-prison meal

Todd Chrisley has been open and honest about his life after prison. He has not shied away from the spotlight. In fact, he appears to crave the limelight after 28 months behind bars. The Chrisleys opened up to Good Morning America about their prison release a few weeks ago. They even shared the first meals they had after leaving the prison yard

Todd Chrisley said that his first post-prison meal came from Pizza Hut. The real estate developer didn’t delve into his exact order. Still, the pizza chain is renowned for its stuffed crust offerings and generous toppings. The pepperoni pizza is their best-selling option.

Julie Chrisley enjoyed something from Zaxby’s instead

Julie Chrisley didn’t sit down to enjoy a pizza with Todd Chrisley immediately after her release. Instead, Julie Chrisley indulged in a meal from Zaxby’s. She, just like her husband, didn’t regale viewers with her exact order, but Zaxby’s does feel like an iconic choice.

Zaxby’s, a chicken chain popular in the Southeastern United States, is best known for its chicken finger meals and use of Texas toast for some of its sandwiches. The chain was actually mentioned on Chrisley Knows Best as the scene of Savanah Chrisley’s car accident.
