Travis Kelce Credited Taylor Swift for a Major Podcasting Achievement
Apple Podcasts recently released their list of the best episodes of 2025, and Travis and Jason Kelce are thanking Taylor Swift for making the cut. This year, Swift appeared on an episode of the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast to discuss her latest album. Both Kelces believed their success was due to Swift’s presence on the episode.
Taylor Swift announced her latest album on Travis Kelce’s podcast
Swift made an appearance on the Aug. 13 episode of New Heights to talk about her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl. She revealed the album cover and talked about the process of recording the album. She also shared why she chose orange as the album’s official color.
“I’ve just always liked it, Jason,” she told her now-fiancé’s brother. “It feels like kind of energetically how my life has felt, and this album is about what was going on behind the scenes in my inner life during this tour, which was so exuberant and electric and vibrant.”
Unsurprisingly, many of Swift’s fans who may not already listen to New Heights tuned in to hear the episode.
Travis Kelce credited Taylor Swift for his podcast’s successful year
Apple Podcast recently released its year-end charts. Swift’s episode of New Heights was the third most popular podcast episode of the year.
“Our Taylor episode was named one of the best podcast episodes of 2025,” Jason said on the Nov. 19 episode of New Heights.
Travis added, “She’s just so magical.”
Jason believed the episode should have landed higher on the list.
“One of them?” he asked. “What is beating that one? Are there other ones up there? There’s nothing even coming close to that.”
The Telepathy Tapes episode “Unveiling the Hidden World of Telepathic Communication in a Silenced Community” and Crime Junkie’s “MURDERED: The Feeney Family” took the spots ahead of New Heights.
While the Kelce brothers are grateful to Swift for appearing on their show, she also feels that their show has given her a great deal. Travis spoke about his interest in Swift on it before they started dating.
“This podcast has done a lot for me,” she said. “I owe a lot to this podcast. This podcast got me a boyfriend ever since Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app about two years ago.”

Swift learned that Travis was interested in her due to the podcast, and he proved that he wanted to marry her after they recorded their episode. Swift could tell he was nervous, but thought it was because he wanted the recording to go well.
“I was like, ‘He is so serious about this, and I really appreciate that,’” she recalled, per People. “Afterward, I kind of realized, he’s walking around sort of nervous about the podcast, he’s like, ‘My heart is racing, I know how much this means to you, I really want this to be what you hoped it would be,’ because we’d been talking about doing the podcast and announcing the album.”
Not long after they finished recording, Kelce took Swift to the backyard and proposed.
