Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, has deleted her X (formerly Twitter) account after Taylor Swift fans dug up some of her past posts. The posts, which date back to 2010, include both racist and homophobic language. The unearthed posts have escalated the feud between Nicole and Swift’s fans.

Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, deleted her X account

On Halloween, Nicole dressed as Toni Braxton and shared a video of herself lip-syncing to Braxton’s song “He Wasn’t Man Enough.”

“Did you know about us back then? / Do you know I dumped your husband, girlfriend?” Nicole lip-synced. “I’m not thinking ’bout him / But you married him / Do you know I made him leave? / Do you know he begged to stay with me? / He wasn’t man enough for me.”

Nicole claimed the costume choice was inspired by a childhood friend named Taylor.

“I had a white best friend. Her name was Taylor,” she said, per Us Weekly. “And she [had] the only house I could go over to as a kid because my mom didn’t play them type of games. I specifically remember driving home from private school in my uniform in the back of a paddy wagon with Taylor, and her mom was playing this song.”

Still, many of Swift’s fans believed this was a dig at the pop star and her new fiancé. Many thought the costume choice came after Swift appeared to take a shot at Nicole in the song “Opalite.” The alleged tweets resurfaced shortly afterwards.

Screenshots of the alleged tweets include both racist and homophobic language about a variety of different groups of people. Amid the backlash, Nicole deactivated her account.
