Victoria Beckham seems to be ushering in a ‘new Victoria’ era following a recent interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. That’s according to an expert who noted that Posh Spice was defensive and now cares what people think because she wants to be liked. 

For years, David and Victoria were somewhat guarded when it came to their marriage, but they began to open up more and more ever since the release of their Netflix docuseries. So when Victoria appeared on WWHL, fans expected her to naturally be open, but she took on a defensive posture.

Inbaal Honigman is a celebrity psychic and a body language expert. For more than two decades, she has offered her predictions and expertise for Big Brother’s Little Brother, Elle Magazine, and talkSPORT radio, to name a few. 

Speaking on behalf of OLBG, Honigman told Showbiz Cheat Sheet, “Victoria feels defensive. Her legs are crossed, which is a defensive stance and her hands are gathered in front of her, covering her body, showing that she isn’t ready to open up about her marriage. 

“Things soon change. When she starts answering the question, she spreads her hands apart, which is a more open gesture and shows she is ready to open up and be honest. Quickly after, she holds her palms together in a prayer position, showing some nervousness about talking about the Spice Girls, as she is not used to sharing personal information, and she is nervous to say the wrong thing or for anything to be taken out of context.”

Honigman also pointed out that “[Victoria] keeps her legs crossed throughout, even though she is being genuine, she is still showing some protective body language and not allowing people into hers and David’s inner sanctum. There is clear insight that the old Victoria, who used to not care about what people thought about her, is gone. Here we have a new Victoria, a chat show Victoria, who cares what the audience thinks and will play up for the cameras and use comedy gestures and relatable hand movements in order to get people to relate to her and like her.”

Victoria’s family has made headlines over the last year for reasons they would rather not. This stems from a feud with the oldest son, Brooklyn Beckham.

Reports have flooded the internet that Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, are not on speaking terms with David and Victoria but no one really knows why. Those rumors went into overdrive when Brooklyn and Peltz skipped out on his father’s 50th birthday party back in May.

The alleged family rift is said to have been brewing since Brooklyn and Peltz tied the knot in 2022. Some sources claim that Victoria was upset that the bride didn’t pick her mother-in-law to design her dress, while other reports say Peltz and Brooklyn weren’t happy that Victoria tried to steal the limelight on their wedding day.

Brooklyn mentioned the reported family feud while speaking with the Daily Mail in September 2025, telling the publication, “There’s always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife. Me and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we’re happy.”
