King Charles had an awkward encounter with some people in the crowd during a recent walkabout with his wife, Queen Camilla.

The king and queen were in Suffolk, England, to visit the Jockey Club Rooms and tour the nearby National Stud. More than 1,000 people lined the streets to catch of glimpse of the royal couple before the monarchs began shaking hands with those gathered to see them.

But not everyone was delighted to see the pair as video captured one man and one woman heckling the king.

In the 22-second clip, a man can be heard questioning King Charles about his family’s cost on the British taxpayers.

Of course, this isn’t the first time the royal has ever dealt with a heckler so he calmly replied, “Ah yes,” and continued moving along. Another heckler, a woman, can then be heard asking, “Do you think it’s fair we pay £27 million a year from the Duchy of Lancaster?”

The king stopped to address her, but his reply was inaudible. After a moment, Charles began walking again and never looked back.

A few people around the hecklers then defended the monarch by saying: “You are my king” and “God bless you, Your Majesty.”
