Was Scott Disick Invited to Kris Jenner’s Birthday Party This Year?
Scott Disick believes he has earned his way into the Kardashian family, even if he’s not coupled up with Kourtney Kardashian any longer. Fans mostly agree, too. After all, Scott Disick had more staying power than most of the Kardashians’ romantic partners. Still, things got dicey after Kourtney moved on with Travis Barker. Once Kourtney and Barker got engaged, Scott Disick’s de facto invitation to family events was rescinded, and that led to a lot of hurt feelings in 2022. It appears the family has established some sort of system, as Scott Disick was spotted at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party.
Scott Disick and the Kardashians feuded over invites back in 2022
Kourtney Kardashian’s engagement and marriage to Travis Barker changed a lot in the Kardashian family. Some fans argue that Kourtney has become more annoying since linking up with Barker, and their over-the-top affection hasn’t sat well with many fans. Scott Disick seems to be the man most annoyed by the pairing. Once things between Barker and Kourtney got serious, he was largely excommunicated from the Kardashian family. An entire episode of The Kardashians centered around it.
In a May 2022 episode of The Kardashians, Scott expressed frustration over being left out of Kris and Kendall Jenner’s birthday celebrations that year. In the episode, Scott discovers he hadn’t been invited to Kris’s birthday dinner or Kendall’s intimate party. He told Kris that being excluded “really hurts.” He also confronted Kendall about the situation. She exploded on him, insisting that she didn’t want him there because it would have been “awkward” with Kourtney and Travis. Kourtney offered zero empathy for the father of her three eldest children. Some fans noted that Kourtney was being a tad hypocritical. She had no problem interloping on his relationships after their split, but was quick to toss him aside for Barker.
He scored an invite to Kris Jenner’s birthday party
The Kardashian family has apparently found ways to include Scott Disick in bigger family events. At the very least, he managed to get invited to Kris Jenner’s massive birthday bash. It was held last weekend. Disick was photographed walking into the event, held at Jeff Bezos’ mansion, along with several other celebrities.
Disick’s name appeared on several guest lists, right along the names of Kris Jenner’s kids and their partners. Still, he was spotted walking in alone, and it doesn’t appear he interacted with Kourtney Kardashian much at the event. Kourtney and Travis Barker both attended, but the event was so large and star-studded that they likely didn’t need to cross paths. According to People, everyone from Oprah Winfrey to Snoop Dogg attended the wild soirée.
He has been absent from other family events, though
While Disick clearly scored an invite to Kris Jenner’s big event, he has not found his way into smaller family affairs recently. In fact, Scott hasn’t been invited or has not attended several major family milestones in the last few years. He did not appear in photos from Khloé Kardashian’s 40th birthday party in June 2024. Kourtney and her husband, Travis Barker, were on hand for the Saloon-themed bash. Rumor has it that Barker, uncomfortable with Disick’s connection to the family, is the reason he’s been disinvited to events.
More recently, Scott Disick was a no-show at Kendall Jenner’s 30th birthday bash. The event, held on the private island of Mustique, was planned out down to the dress code, but remained relatively small. The guest list included some of her siblings, her mother, and close friends, like Justin Bieber and Haley Bieber. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker were noticeably absent. Scott Disick was a no-show, too, though that’s unsurprising considering how Kendall blew up at him in 2022 after he expressed feeling hurt that she didn’t invite him to her birthday dinner. Rob Kardashian also opted not to attend.
