Where Britney Spears Was Spotted in Public for the First Time Since Her DUI Arrest
Britney Spears has been spotted for the first time since her arrest on suspicion of DUI.
A photo was snapped of the pop star on March 22 as she waited in line at the Starbucks in the Malibu Country Mart.
Back on March 4, California Highway Patrol officers pulled over the pop star’s 2026 BMW 430i convertible for speeding and driving erratically on the 101 Freeway in Ventura County. She was arrested and released a short time later.
A spokesman for the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office later said, “The DUI case against Britney Spears has been submitted to the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office and is under review by our prosecutors. Part of that review might include seeking additional information and evidence. A filing decision will be made before the scheduled May 4, 2026, court date.”
Following her arrest, Spears’ manager, Cade Hudson, released a statement that read, “This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable. Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law and hopefully, this can be the first step in a long-overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.”
