Will Bianca Censori Appear in the Kanye West Documentary ‘in Whose Name’?
A documentary about Kanye West has been years in the making; now, a trailer has been released. Based on the short sneak-peek, it looks like In Whose Name? Will hold almost nothing back. The one-minute trailer captured the tension between Kanye West and Kim Kardashian as their marriage began to unravel. Kardashian’s prominent appearance in the trailer has us wondering if we will see Kanye’s current muse, Bianca Censori. So, will West’s second wife appear in the documentary?
‘In Whose Name’ slated for September release after years of filming
Nico Ballesteros filmed and edited “In Whose Name?”, a documentary about Kanye West and his fall from grace. When Ballesteros started filming the College Dropout rapper, all seemed relatively well. He was in a relationship with Kim Kardashian, had developed a sneaker line that had sneakerheads clamoring for new releases, and he was successfully navigating fatherhood. That all changed, and Ballesteros was there to film it all.
Now, fans and followers will have a front row seat to what went on behind closed doors. Ballesteros’ documentary will premiere at the box office on September 19. Ahead of the project’s release, Ballesteros dropped a trailer that suggests the documentary heavily focuses on the final, tense moments of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s marriage. Is there more, though? Fans are hoping his other relationships will be featured just as heavily.
Will Bianca Censori appear in the documentary?
Kanye West’s relationship with Kim Kardashian is undoubtedly important. Still, it’s not the most important relationship he has at the moment. It’s not even the relationship the public is most fascinated by right now. That distinction goes to his romance with his much-younger bride, Bianca Censori. Her absence in the trailer was obvious, but that doesn’t mean she won’t appear in the documentary.
Based on the years that Ballesteros spent filming the controversial rapper, Censori would almost certainly have to appear. Ballesteros did not reveal his exact filming timeline, but fans have long discussed how an 18-year-old Ballesteros convinced West to let him film him. Ballesteros, according to 032C, was 21 in 2021, which means he began filming Ye in 2018. The film stretches over six years, suggesting he set the camera down in 2024.
If the documentary spans six years of West’s life, Censori is very likely to appear. She and West married in late 2022, although she began working for the controversial star in 2020. Since they appear together often and seem to be largely inseparable, Ballesteros likely captured plenty of footage of Censori. We won’t know how much of that footage made it into the documentary, though. Right now, she didn’t make it into the trailer, but events from her time with West did. So, we’ll just have to wait and see.
According to Deadline, In Whose Name? will be released on September 19 in 1,000 select theaters through a partnership with AMC, Regal, and Cinemark theater chains.
