Marshall played college basketball for the Miami Hurricanes in the 2024-25 season. Before she was with the Canes, Marshall spent her collegiate career playing for Notre Dame, where Loyd also played her college ball. Marshall helped lead the team to the ACC Tournament title. Marshall received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and American Studies from Notre Dame, and earned her Master’s of Sport Administration from Miami. Per her LinkedIn, she is a Student-Athlete Advisory Council Young Alumni Representative and a content creator.
She has over 54,000 followers on Instagram and more than 24,000 on TikTok.
Loyd dated another basketball player before Marshall
Before she and Marshall got together, Loyd was dating another basketball player, Téa Adams. The exact date of when they started dating isn’t clear, but Téa was posting about Loyd back in 2023.
Téa is from Kirkland, Washington. She is the daughter of Sam Adams, who played football for the Texas A&M Aggies before he entered the NFL. Sam had stints with a few teams, including the Seattle Seahawks, Baltimore Ravens, and the Buffalo Bills. He won Super Bowl XXXV with the Ravens.
Téa attended San Diego State University and later transferred to Oregon State University. She has also played on the Estonia Women’s National Basketball Team.
