Katy Perry has made headlines over the last few months for her trip to space with the all-female Blue Origin NS-13 flight when the pop star belted out a tune singing “What a Wonderful World.” Her name was also in the news after it was announced that she and Orlando Bloom, her partner of nearly 10 years, have called it quits and ended their engagement.
On June 25, a source told US Weekly: “Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is, of course, upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”

The jewelry experts at the U.K. retailer Steven Stone looked over the details of the ring and estimated how much it’s worth.
Maxwell Stone commented: “Over the years, Katy Perry has dated and married some very famous faces. She currently sports a gorgeous daisy-shaped engagement ring from Orlando Bloom, but that wasn’t her first sparkler. When Russell Brand proposed to Katy, he did so with a 2-carat diamond engagement ring that’s likely to be worth around $30,000. Though it’s difficult to identify the shape of the diamond it’s set in yellow gold and sat on a thick band.”
After a little more than a year together, things in their relationship soured and in 2011, Brand filed for divorce from Perry citing “irreconcilable differences.”
