You Won’t Believe How Much Taylor Swift’s Engagement Ring From Travis Kelce Is Worth
It’s official! Wedding Bells will be ringing for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift! A little more than two years after starting their love story, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end proposed to his Juliet and she said yes!
Swift and Kelce shared the news with their fans all over the world via a carousel of photos on Instagram and the playful caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
In one pic, the NFL star can be seen down on one knee proposing and in another the pop star shows off her huge engagement ring, which was designed by Kindred Lubeck at Artifex Fine Jewelry. Early estimations have varied putting it between 8-12 carats.
With so many eyes on Swift’s ring, the jewelry and diamond experts at the retailer Steven Stone have weighed in on the stunning sparkler and how much a rock that size is worth.
Zack Stone told Showbiz Cheat Sheet: “Many celebrities prefer to keep their engagement rings private, which is why it was such a delightful surprise to see Taylor proudly sharing hers on Instagram. Of course, with a diamond that size, who wouldn’t?”
He noted that the “Bad Blood” hitmaker’s ring looks to be 12 carats, saying: “It features a striking 12-carat cushion-cut diamond — an elongated shape with softly rounded corners that balances brilliance with a romantic, understated elegance. The stone sits in a yellow gold setting, paired with a simple, polished band that lets the diamond take center stage.
“The piece leans toward a vintage or antique-inspired aesthetic. The bold diamond, combined with the warm glow of yellow gold, gives it a timeless quality. It feels like a perfect match for Taylor. She often embraces vintage romance in her artistry, particularly during her ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’ eras.”
Zack added: “Antique-style jewelry also carries with it a sense of history and memory. Just as Taylor infuses nostalgia and storytelling into her lyrics, this ring feels as though it could hold a story of its own — a symbolic treasure for someone who values meaning as much as beauty. I’d estimate Taylor’s ring to be worth $700,000.”
Some others have put that cost of Swift’s ring even higher with jeweler Laura Taylor, telling Us Weekly that the 12-carat stunner could “easily be worth $1 million.” And Abelini founder Nilesh Rakholia opining that it could be worth a whopping $1.2 million.
