Los Angeles is famous for many things. The Griffith Observatory and The Getty Center are two popular spots tourists often frequent. However, as many already know, most of the city’s attractions stem from the city’s roots of glitz and glamour. The Hollywood Walk of Fame and its correlating sign amidst the Santa Monica Mountains are two of LA’s most well-known features. Of course, on that note, many people also often come to LA in hopes of catching a sighting of celebrities, and with so many around, it isn’t too far-fetched. Take a look at these 9 LA restaurants celebrities and stars can’t seem to get enough of.

1. Chateau Marmont

Historically known as “the castle on the hill,” Chateau Marmont has seemingly always been an important part of Hollywood.

In the past, it was known to be Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor’s unofficial stomping grounds, but, as time continues to pass, though the clientele may change, the scenery has, in a way, very much stayed the same. Cameron Diaz, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Cara Delevingne, and Taylor Swift have been more recent celebrities spotted at Chateau Marmont.

The hotel that opened in 1929 always had a bit of a reputation when it came to partying, and with that being said, it shouldn’t be too shocking to learn that Chateau Marmont is best known for its “divine cocktails.” Located right on Sunset Boulevard, Chateau Marmont has become a staple of celebrity culture.

2. The Nice Guy

The Nice Guy is a crossover between a restaurant and a nightclub, making it the perfect place for many Hollywood VIPs. All Italian cravings and celebrity sightings can be fulfilled here, but with such exclusive and swanky vibes, no one can get into The Nice Guy without a reservation. Fortunately, that has never seemed to be a problem for stars like Nicki Minaj, Gigi Hadid, and Zayn Malik.

Another well-known celebrity who often visits The Nice Guy is Drake, who has even had several drinks on the menu named after him. The Insider shared some of the details behind the Canadian rapper’s influence on the business. Speaking of the menu, the Fried Mozzarella, Spicy Shrimp Scampi, and Rigatoni Bolognese are just a few of the many tasty items customers will want to try.

3. Catch LA

The playfully punny name of this restaurant says it all. Seafood is at the heart of this LA restaurant that so many stars are known to frequent. Culture Trip shared that Kylie Jenner, Tyga, The Chainsmokers, and Jamie Foxx have been some of the many A-listers to be seen dining out at Catch LA.

Located in West Hollywood, Catch LA has become quite the hot spot since its opening. From the Sautéed Wild-Caught Snapper that can be found on the restaurant’s dinner menu to the Crunchy Rice Cakes, an ever-popular Brunch-classic, Catch LA‘s menu does not disappoint.

4. Cecconi’s

Right in West Hollywood, sitting on Melrose Avenue, is Cecconi’s. Cecconi’s is known for serving up some of the tastiest Italian dishes in town and, on top of that, has an amazing brunch menu. Plus, if Ellen DeGeneres, Gwen Stefani, and Jennifer Lopez eat there, they must be doing something right.

5. Craig’s

Known for their phenomenal table bread and celebrity clients, Craig’s is a popular place for many reasons. Priding themselves as “An American Restaurant,” Craig’s menu has many classical comfort foods. Meatloaf, Chicken Parmigiana, and Pigs in a Blanket are just a few of the beloved items that can be found on the menu. Stars such as Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, and Cindy Crawford have been seen there, and Kim Kardashian West has even gone as far as to call Craig’s her favorite restaurant.

6. Casa Vega

Did somebody say tacos? Casa Vega holds down the title of one of the most elite and exquisite LA restaurants for Mexican cuisine and, of course, margaritas. Celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Aniston, and Selena Gomez go there not only for the bomb food and drinks but also to enjoy the restaurant’s 1950s-inspired aesthetic.

7. Brentwood Country Mart

Shopping and snacking often go hand-in-hand, and Brentwood Country Mart definitely understands that. The food court that is centrally located in a quaint yet thriving shopping village has a little bit of everything. Barney’s Burgers, Caffe Luxxe, Farmshop, and Reddi Chik BBQ are just a few of the options patrons can choose from. Rachel Zoe and Reese Witherspoon are two of Hollywood’s stars that seem to love Brentwood Country Mart. Just the other day, Arnold Schwarzenegger was spotted at the popular attraction.

8. Gjelina

Known as “a staple of Abbot Kinney Boulevard,” Gjelina‘s has been serving up slices to the rich and famous for quite some time. Natalie Portman, Ryan Seacrest, and Julia Roberts are a few of the many stars who go to Gjelina when it comes to pizza. Lamb sausage, thyme, and goat cheese are some of the unique and tasty ingredients used to create the show-stopping pizzas.

9. Fig & Olive

Fig & Olive sat amongst the exclusive LA restaurants frequently visited by those with high profiles and star statuses for a while. Ryan Gosling, Paul McCartney, and Johnny Depp are high-profile individuals seen at the restaurant after its opening.

The Mediterranean menu drew in many people, but unfortunately, the Fig & Olive located on Melrose has permanently closed. Though it is always sad to hear, it is safe to say Hollywood’s favorites have more than a few options.
