If you’re like many television viewers, you’re waiting patiently for your favorite shows, like NCIS and Blue Bloods, to return to television. Here’s a list of 10 TV shows we can’t wait to air during the Fall 2021 season.

NCIS

NCIS Season 18 ended with Gibbs (Mark Harmon) escaping a boat explosion and Bishop (Emily Wickersham) unexpectedly leaving NCIS. We have so many questions after that season finale. Also, two new people will be joining the team. Season 19 will add actors Katrina Law (Agent Jessica Knight) and Gary Cole (FBI Special Agent Alden Park). One big question we have is if this will be the final season. Could this really be the end of NCIS?

Chicago Fire

Severide, Cruz, Tony, and Capp are in trouble. They’re trapped underwater, and it looks like things could go either way. When the series returns, we’ll see who gets out and who (if anyone) sinks into a watery grave. Severide (Taylor Kinney) just got engaged, and Cruz and Chloe are expecting a baby, so we’re rooting for these two if we have to pick.

Law & Order: SVU

Law & Order: SVU Season 23 ended with Olivia (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliott (Chris Meloni) at Fin’s (Ice T) celebration. Fin was supposed to marry his girlfriend, Phoebe, but they decided not to move forward with the wedding. One big moment during this episode was when Elliott asked how Fin met his girlfriend, and Oliva said they were partners. Olivia and Elliott gave each other a brief look, which seemed to hint at a relationship between the two down the line. Olivia then raised her glass in a toast, saying, “to partners.”

Law & Order: Organized Crime

Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger. Elliott was standing in a hospital hallway, pleading for help while Angela Wheatley (Tamara Taylor) clung to life. Will Angela, a key witness, die, or will she survive and put Richard Wheatley (Dylan McDermott) behind bars for good? We’re also interested in seeing if Olivia Benson and Elliott Stabler will pursue a romantic relationship.

NCIS: Los Angeles

Things will look quite different on NCIS: Los Angeles now that Nell Jones (Renée Felice Smith) and Eric Beale (Barrett Foa) are gone. Also, guest star Gerald McRaney (Admiral Hollace Kilbride) will be promoted to series regular. We’re most excited to see the return of Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt).

Blue Bloods

Blue Bloods will be back for season 13. We just can’t get enough of Frank, Danny, Jamie, Erin, and the rest of the characters. This season is significant because the Reagans will sit down for their 250th family dinner. We can’t wait to see if there will be any special guests at family dinner.

Chicago Med

Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) is recovering from being shot by a disgruntled patient, so Dr. Dean Archer (Steven Weber) will take over the emergency department. Also, two new doctors are joining the team. We won’t be surprised if there is a lot of drama this season.

 The Good Doctor

The relationships during The Good Doctor Season 4 finale went through a lot of changes. One of the biggest pieces of relationship news is that Lea and Shaun are getting married. Lea proposed to Shaun during their Guatemala medical missions trip. Also, Morgan and Park finally admit they want to be in a relationship with each other.

Unfortunately, things don’t look good for Dr. Glassman and Dr. Andrews. Their marriages are falling apart. Glassman’s wife packed her bags and told him the marriage isn’t going to work. Meanwhile, Andrews is trying to figure out if he wants to stay and work on his marriage.

FBI

FBI will return for season 4 this fall. Things seem uncertain for Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille. There seems to be a power struggle between her and the new Assistant Director in Charge. We’ll have to wait until the new season begins before we see how things turn out. Also joining the FBI franchise is FBI: International, starring Luke Kleintank and Heida Reed. FBI: Most Wanted is also returning. This will be season 3 for the series.
