Fans have been missing 1000-lb Sisters stars Tammy and Amy Slaton since season 2 of the TV show came to an end. The season ended pretty dramatically for Tammy. While Amy reached her weight loss goals, Tammy went in the opposite direction and gained weight. Fans have been concerned about Tammy during the off-season and have wondered how her progress is going. Now, Tammy has revealed when we can expect to see her progress again on 1000-lb Sisters Season 3.
How did ‘1000-lb Sisters’ Season 2 end?
Though Tammy and Amy started out on their weight loss journeys together, the experience has been completely different for both stars. Amy ended up getting down to 270 lbs by the end of season 2, even after giving birth to her son, Gage. Tammy, on the other hand, learned that she had gained weight.
“I just wasn’t doing what I needed to do. I mean, sometimes I try to eat healthier, and then other days I’m like, ‘What the heck’s the point?’” she confessed to her doctor at the final weigh in of the season.
Tammy got up to 665 lbs, which her doctor was not happy about. However, he was proud of her for admitting she had an issue with food.
“You could’ve blamed [that] you couldn’t get out of bed, you could’ve blamed that you had COVID and you could’ve blamed that you were in the hospital, and you didn’t,” he said. “And believe it or not, that’s a step forward from where you’ve been in the past. So you just made progress even though your weight went up.”

Fans have been eager to see more of the Slaton sisters’ story so they have been constantly asking Tammy about 1000-lb Sisters Season 3 on TikTok.
Recently, Tammy finally decided to respond.
“Season 3 don’t come out until next year,” she said in a TikTok. “It takes a year to film cause we got to find locations.
“You gotta find places they will let you film for everything we do,” she continued. “Let’s say we went to a grocery store. We may have to find a grocery store that’s like one person owned and not like a sister store or a franchise like Walmart. So like and they gotta edit after they get all the filming done. So its gonna be a while. I’m sorry and people keep asking about Hulu, I don’t know. I don’t know anything. I mean it is what it is.”
What will happen on the new season?
A lot has happened since 1000-lb Sisters Season 2 ended. Amy has continued to raise her son and lose weight. Tammy has broken up with her boyfriend, Jerry Sykes, and already found a new man. Now, she is dating TikTok user “thebbwking.” Not a lot is known about their relationship or how they met. The two went public on the video-sharing app earlier this year and constantly make videos with one another. Fans have been worried about the relationship and accused Tammy’s new man of using her for fame. There has been no official word on whether Tammy’s new boyfriend will be featured in 1000-lb Sisters Season 3, however they are currently filming the show and Tammy has been spending a lot of time with him.
