The 2022 Grammy Awards will be held on April 3 in Las Vegas. On March 15, the Recording Academy announced the first round of performers for the upcoming Grammy Awards. At the award show, BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Jack Harlow, and more will perform.

BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lil Nas X are part of the first round of performers at the 2022 Grammy Awards

The first round of performers for the 64th Annual Grammy Awards was announced on March 15. All of the artists announced are nominees at the upcoming award show.

According to the Recording Academy, Brothers Osborne, BTS, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Rodrigo, and Lil Nas X with Harlow will all perform at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

Brothers Osborne, BTS, Carlile, Eilish, Lil Nas X, and Harlow are all previous nominees, and Eilish, Lil Nas X, and Carlile have all won Grammy Awards in the past. Rodrigo is a first-time nominee.

Where will the 2022 Grammy Awards be held?

The 64th Annual Grammy Awards were originally supposed to take place on Jan. 31 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Recording Academy postponed the award show.

The 2022 Grammy Awards were then rescheduled to take place on April 3, resulting in the award show relocating to Las Vegas.

In a press release, the Recording Academy wrote, “The 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards® have been rescheduled and will now broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sun, April 3 (8-11:30 p.m., live ET/5-8:30 p.m., live PT) on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.”

Who else is nomianted at the award show?

At the award show, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook of BTS are nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their song “Butter.”

Brothers Osborne are nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for the song “Younger Me” and for Best Country Album for Skeletons.

Carlile is nominated for Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best American Roots Performance, and for Song of the Year twice.

Lil Nas X is nominated for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Melodic Rap Performance, and Best Music Video. Harlow received nominations for Best Melodic Rap Performance and Album of the Year for his collaboration on Lil Nas X’s Montero.

Both Eilish and Rodrigo are up for seven Grammy Awards this year. The two each received nominations for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Music Video, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Eilish also received a nomination for Best Music Film while Rodrigo is nominated for Best New Artist.
