The 2022 Grammy Awards will be held on April 3. On March 24, the Recording Academy announced a second round of performers for the upcoming award show. In addition to previously announced artists, Jon Batiste, H.E.R., Leslie Odom Jr., and more will perform at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Jon Batiste, and more will perform at the 2022 Grammy Awards

The Recording Academy announced the first round of performers for the 64th Annual Grammy Awards on March 15. Brothers Osborne, BTS, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow were announced in the first round.

On March 24, the Recording Academy revealed more performers for the 2022 Grammy Awards. Batiste, Foo Fighters, H.E.R., Nas, and Chris Stapleton will perform stages of their own at the award show.

In a press release, the Recording Academy also shared that there will be “a special In Memoriam performance featuring songs of Stephen Sondheim by GRAMMY® winner Cynthia Erivo, current nominee Leslie Odom Jr., current nominee Ben Platt, and Rachel Zegler.”

The 2022 Grammy Awards will be held in Las Vegas

The 64th Annual Grammy Awards were originally supposed to occur on Jan. 31 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Because of the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Recording Academy postponed the ceremony.

The award show was later rescheduled for April 3. Instead of being held in LA, the 2022 Grammy Awards were moved to Las Vegas.

In a press release, the Recording Academy wrote, “The 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards® have been rescheduled and will now broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sun, April 3 (8-11:30 p.m., live ET/5-8:30 p.m., live PT) on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+.”

Multiple performers are nominated at this year’s award show

Out of the first round of performers announced, BTS, Brothers Osborne, Carlile, Lil Nas X, Harlow, Eilish, and Rodrigo are all nominated at the upcoming Grammy Awards.

There are multiple nominees in the second round of announced performers. Batiste has 11 nominations, the most of any nominee at the 2022 Grammy Awards. Foo Fighters, H.E.R., Nas, Odom Jr., Platt, and Stapleton are also nominees at the upcoming award show.
