Will Rafael join the heist?

In a series of flashbacks, viewers were first introduced to Berlin’s (Pedro Alonso) son Rafael (Patrick Criado). Although the flashbacks showed viewers another side of Berlin, fans believe they will play a more prominent role in the narrative. While the money heist crew remains trapped in the Bank of Spain, The Professor (Álvaro Morte) doesn’t know how to get them out. So, many fans believe Rafael was introduced to help them escape. So, could Rafael save the heist crew in Volume 2?

Will the money heist gang escape the Bank of Spain alive?

The gang remains confined in the Bank of Spain. With a ton of melted gold, the crew has no escape plan. In the first part of Money Heist Season 5, the Professor apologizes to each team member individually. Since the Professor doesn’t have a Plan B, the gang will face their biggest dilemma yet. Will the mastermind devise a plan for the crew to escape the Bank of Spain? Or will they meet an untimely fate?

Could The Professor be the next narrator?

In Money Heist Season 5 Volume 1, Tokyo sacrificed herself to save the crew in the Bank of Spain. During the season finale, Gandia (José Manuel Poga) and other assailants tried to apprehend Tokyo, Denver (Jaime Lorente), Manila (Belén Cuesta), and the rest of the group.

While the officials fired their guns, she took several pullets to the body. Then, she removed the pins from the grenades strapped to her chest, killing herself and Gandia in the process. Ultimately, the group escapes. But, they must grapple with the loss of Tokyo.

From the first episode, the story has been told from Tokyo’s (Úrsula Corberó) perspective. Now that she’s dead, fans theorize The Professor will take over. Since he is the mastermind behind the heist, fans speculate The Professor will narrate the final chapter in the series. Plus, it would be interesting to hear the story from his perspective.

In Money Heist Season 5 Volume 1, Alicia Sierra captured the Professor and the rest of his accomplices to clear her name. To recap, Tamayo (Fernando Cayo) held a press conference and called Sierra a co-conspirator in the money heist. Since then, she planned to apprehend the mastermind and give him to the government. However, her pregnancy thwarted her plans. Sierra’s water broke, and she asked the Professor to deliver the baby. Ultimately, she freed the Professor.

Although Alicia Sierra shared a sentimental moment with the Professor and Lisbon after her baby was born, the former police officer might have an ulterior motive. Alicia walked into the bathroom and slid a pair of pliers up her sleeve. In a Reddit thread, fans theorized that Alicia is planning to kill someone with the pliers. So, is she going to go after The Professor? Or does she have another intended target in mind? For now, fans will have to wait and see in the next installment.

The final season of Money Heist is streaming now on Netflix.
