Fans of 90 Day Fiancé have plenty of drama to discuss this season. The documentary/reality series has been around for years but has really ramped up in recent years, with multiple spinoffs and lots of online discussions. One of the most popular spinoffs is 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, which is currently in its fourth season. What is 90 Day Fiancé about?

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days first premiered in the summer of 2017. The show’s setup is a bit of a prequel to the original 90 Day Fiancé, focusing on couples who have established international relationships but who have not yet met their other half in person. The show chronicles the adventures that ensue when the American half of the couple travels to their partner’s home country, to meet in person and decide if the relationship is solid enough to progress. If the couple decides not to move forward, they call off the process of applying for the K-1 visa.

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days has quickly gained traction with fans, and the show has almost eclipsed the original in popularity. The fourth season has been especially rife with drama, with six new couples that inspired a lot of fan reactions, both positive and negative.

Camping in Russia. Behind the scenes. In Siberia, mosquitoes are the size of a fist and, if desired, they together can carry a frail newborn. I even told these stories to Geoffrey—trying to dissuade from camping. But this was obviously in vain. We went to the middle of nowhere and, for 2 days, I lost hot water and a toilet. I think it’s no secret to anyone that Igor became a real highlight of these shooting days. This big and strong as a bear, Russian, was a real soul of the company. Igor has several super abilities: he can skillfully joke in sign language and facial expressions and, with only the use of his mind, can force you to drink vodka with him. By the way, the account of this superman is @boldyrev5684 and something tells me that we will see him on 90 day fiancé the other way. So, Igor hadn’t seen Geoffrey for so long that he was eager to finish the shoot and finally talk in an informal setting. Therefore, he did everything possible to sabotage the filming process and tried to give the producer a drink. We must pay tribute to @shawnmichaels42 twice smaller and thinner than Igor kept himself, like a real hero, and politely dodged each poured glass of vodka. Fortunately, moving from one city to another was so tiring that we didn’t shoot until late at night as usual, but finished early to try all the dishes prepared by Igor in the fresh air. And of course to party like wild Russians. This is where the heat started! Cultural exchanges showed that the Americans invented the atomic bomb in vain. Russians could be dealt with «s’mores». I myself know that it’s hard to survive after such a carbohydrate stroke. In turn, we showed the Yankees which appetizer, according to the periodic table, is best combined with a traditional Russian drink. Well, the culmination of the evening was my favorite drunken fun – jumping over a big fire. By the way, did you know that eyelash extensions curl and stick together when they melt? I know now! Referring Back to the mosquitoes, my warning went unheeded to Geoffrey. The next morning, having lost his vigilance he was bitten by a mosquito in the most vulnerable spot. In his man’s part. It’s a wild Siberia babe!

RELATED: ’90 Day Fiancé’: Geoffrey Paschel’s Criminal History is So Extensive He’s Barred From a Country

Geoffrey Paschel and Varya Malina were quite possibly the most talked-about couple in the fourth season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Paschel, hailing from Tennessee, and Malina, from Russia, were considered to be problematic from the start. Their personalities never really meshed, even from the very first moment that Paschel met Malina in her home country of Russia.

As the season progressed, fans began to learn more about Paschel’s checkered past, including his criminal history. Not only was Paschel revealed to have a history of violence against women, but he also concealed possible drug charges. In fact, sources stated that Paschel previously waived arraignment on charges of aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault, and interference with an emergency call. With such a checkered past, it is no wonder that Malina began to question a future with Paschel. In addition to Malina’s uncertainly, fans began to seriously call into question the integrity of the show, to feature someone with such a problematic history.

Fans reacted online to Varya Malina and Geoffrey Paschel’s breakup

As it turned out, fans needn’t have worried too much. Paschel did, in fact, propose to Malina, but she turned him down, admitting that she would prefer to take things slowly. In response, Paschel seemed to ice Malina out, turning his attentions to another woman named Mary. Ultimately, Malina was the only one who emerged from the relationship in a positive light. Fans online reacted to Paschel and Malina’s breakup with humor and relief, telling Malina in a Twitter thread that she definitely “dodged a bullet.”

Other fans called out Paschel’s shady past and suspect personality, stating that he is clearly a narcissist and that he has “deep-rooted issues.” In fact, Paschel had no defenders at all and could have a very tough time rebounding from the unfortunate way that he appeared on the show. Still, he has remained active on social media, posting ads for protein bars and seemingly oblivious to the swarm of negative press that he has received. For fans of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, this chapter involving Geoffrey Paschel is one that they are happy to close.
