Born in 1983, DeVine was raised in Nebraska and had a relatively normal childhood. When he was eleven years old, DeVine was struck by a cement truck, which sent him into a coma and caused extensive scarring on his legs. The tragic event would shape DeVine’s view of the world around him, and he developed an interest in comedy as a way to combat the bullying that he was experiencing as a result of the accident.

Ultimately, DeVine made a full recovery and moved to California to pursue a career in entertainment. His early years in the industry were mainly spent on collaborations with friends, getting a feel for the comedy style that he would eventually inhabit so well.

DeVine started to enjoy his first successes through YouTube sketch shows with his group Mail Order Comedy. Eventually, those sketch shows would lead DeVine to score his first major role and one that many fans still know him best for.

What is Adam DeVine best known for?

In 2011, Adam DeVine’s series Workaholics debuted on TV. The show was a big deal for DeVine, not only because he had a starring role in the series, but also because he was a co-creator of the show. Workaholics would go on to run until 2017, earning DeVine legions of fans.

There’s no doubt that Workaholics opened the door professionally for other DeVine roles including a longrunning role in Modern Family as Andy and parts in big-name films like Pitch Perfect, Pitch Perfect 2, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, and Magic Camp

DeVine also starred in his very own Comedy Central series, Adam DeVine’s House Party, which ran from 2013 through 2016. These days, DeVine is starring in a brand-new film called Jexi and has a recurring role in the HBO series The Righteous Gemstones, which was recently renewed for a second season.

In addition to his work in film and television, DeVine regularly lends his time to charitable endeavors and likes to give back to the community in as many ways as possible.

How many women have grabbed Adam DeVine inappropriately?

DeVine doesn’t have the stature of Dwayne Johnson nor the chiseled features of Chris Evans, but he has still become an unlikely romantic lead. Although DeVine has been dating actress Chloe Bridges since 2015 and they recently became engaged, DeVine is still the target for a great deal of female affection.

Recently, DeVine was asked what the most inappropriate thing that a fan had ever done in his presence. DeVine responded that, in fact, “at least 25” women have grabbed his rear end.

DeVine admitted that he never knows exactly how to respond to being accosted like that, but just “awkwardly” keeps it moving. He also kindly requested that his female fans “keep those paws” to themselves.
