Anne Hathaway has been working non-stop since the late 1990s

These days, Hathaway may be an A-list movie star. But she actually had her breakthrough role on television. Along with Jesse Eisenberg and Eric Christian Olsen, Hathaway starred on the short-lived Fox comedy Get Real. And though it ran for just a single season, the actor landed her big-screen debut the following year. The life-changing movie? 2001’s The Princess Diaries.

That hit Disney film led to not only a 2004 sequel but also Hathaway’s busy career. Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, she appeared in hits such as The Dark Knight Rises, The Devil Wears Prada, and Alice in Wonderland. And in 2013, Hathaway won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role opposite Hugh Jackman in Les Misérables.

Now the Oscar-winning actor reveals her key to surviving 2020

As Hathaway recently told Live with Kelly and Ryan, she’s been working non-stop since her career started. And the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic forced her to slow down. The actor revealed she became “a lot more casual” about household chores and took time to enjoy the little things. In fact, she credits one food item for helping her family get through 2020.

“We found this brand of frozen pizza that we loved, and that was our saving grace this year,” Hathaway told hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest. However, she resists revealing which brand she buys. “[I would tell you which brand], but then I can’t buy it anymore. Right now, it’s our little secret in the freezer aisle. If I say it, then I won’t be able to get it anymore.”
