Ant Anstead Stays Silent on Social Media While Ex Christina Anstead Celebrates Split By Buying Yacht
Christina Anstead appears to be celebrating the end of her marriage to Ant Anstead. On Oct. 8, the HGTV star shared a photo to her Instagram of herself standing on a yacht. “AFTERMATH,” reads the caption of the photo, which also shows Christina holding two bottles of champagne.

On Sept. 18, Christina announced on social media that she and Ant were separating. The news came as a shock to many of the couple’s fans. The pair have been married for less than two years and have a 1-year-old son, Hudson.
In her Instagram post, Christina called the decision to split “difficult” and asked for privacy as she and Ant “navigate our future.”
Six days later, U.K. native Ant broke his silence about the breakup. He indicated that is was Christina who decided to end the relationship.
“Anyone who really knows me knows that I don’t like to share private matters publicly,” he wrote on Instagram. “I have remained silent while holding on to hope. I never gave up on us. I pray Christina’s decision brings her happiness.”
The ‘Christina on the Coast’ star buys a yacht
Since announcing her split from the Wheeler Dealers host, Christina has been traveling and spending time with her children. (She also has a son and daughter from her previous marriage to her Flip or Flop co-host Tarek El Moussa.) Now, it looks like she’s invested in a yacht.
In her recent social media post, Christina tagged both the boat’s manufacturer, Prestige Yachts, as well as Sun Country Coastal, a dealership in Newport Beach, Calif. The dealership re-posted Christina’s photo with the caption “Another happy customer.” So it sounds like Christina did purchase the boat.
Based on the photos, Christina is now the proud owner of a Prestige 520. According to the Prestige Yacht’s website, that 52-foot model includes an L-shaped lounge and sleeps a max of seven people.
Ant Anstead stays quiet on social media
While Christina is sharing photos of her luxe new yacht on Instagram, Ant is keeping quiet. His last social media post is from Oct. 7, when he shared a black-and-white photo of a collection of handwritten cards from his daughter Amelie from his previous marriage. On the envelopes, she included instructions for when to open the messages, such as “When you’re sad” or “When I’ve just left after a visit.”
“Unpacked these treasures left for me by my amazing little lady @amelieanstead to open when needed,” Ant wrote on Instagram. “Ammo you are simply one of life’s special people. And my pride for you is endless.”
“Love you daddo always!! Always here! Best friends,” Amelie replied.
In the comments of the post, Ant also revealed how he is coping post-breakup. “I joined an all men’s prayer group,” he revealed. “They have been great.”
