'Bachelor in Paradise' will definitely be interested in 2021 when it returns. Many past contestants from 'The Bachelor' franchise are hanging out and displaying it all over social media while in NYC together. Here is who have been spotted together recently.

Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette hasn’t even aired yet, but many people are already looking ahead to Bachelor in Paradise. ABC’s group dating show has been on hold since 2019 due to the coronavirus pandemic. But it’s returning in 2021 and has multiple seasons of contestants to choose from. While producers allegedly are discouraging contestants from hanging out — they definitely are, and are broadcasting it on social media. Here’s who have been spotted together in NYC recently ahead of Bachelor in Paradise filming this summer.

‘Bachelor in Paradise’ is coming back this summer after hiatus

ABC announced via Twitter that Bachelor in Paradise will air starting on August 16. Since Katie’s season of The Bachelorette has already completed filming, the show will have her cast to choose from as well in deciding who will go to paradise.

Many contestants have been teasing possible appearances on the show, despite ABC not yet releasing any official cast announcements. Most recently, players from Matt’s season like Chelsea Vaughn and Kit Keenan have made public declarations hinting at wanting to go on BIP.

But now, former contestants are continuing to hang out in large groups, getting to know each other off-camera. They’ve most recently been gathering in New York City, where connections could already be developing.

These former contestants have been hanging out together in NYC

Abigail Heringer shared a TikTok on May 2 of her and other past contestants together in New York City. She showed herself first taking a sip of a drink. Then the video panned to Rachael Kirkconnell, who Matt broke up with ahead of The Bachelor: After the Final Rose after her social media past resurfaced.

The TikTok also showed Serena Chew and Chelsea drinking, as well as Dustin Kendrick from Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. Dustin currently lives with Peter Weber in the city.

Abigail posed with a peace sign in the penultimate frame with Mike Johnson. Kit, who made it far on Matt’s season, also chugged her drink in the TikTok.

Fans of the show already began shipping Abigail with Mike back in February when Matt’s season was still airing. Mike tweeted in support of Abigail, which viewers immediately connected to a possible love pair on Bachelor in Paradise. The two hanging out together in NYC establishes at least some sort of existing connection between them at the moment.

Furthermore, Reddit users noticed Abigail’s Instagram story of her and Mike as well. Mike posed with Abigail close up next to her, and people were even more supportive of the two getting together on BIP.

For now, though, the pair could just be good friends. Anything could happen on Bachelor in Paradise — maybe even a return of now-single lead Peter. We’ll have to stay tuned to the former castmates’ social media, as well as formal declarations from ABC on who we will see in paradise.
