Many Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 cast members thought Chris and Jessenia were solid once they got together. But everything changed when Alana arrived in episode 7. During the VIP party, Chris and Alana instantly connected and started kissing in front of everyone, including Jessenia.

After Alana and Chris got together, multiple BIP contestants called out Chris for the way he treated Jessenia. The cast accused Chris of being there for the wrong reasons and pre-show dating, claiming his sudden relationship with Alana seemed “too structured.”

Later, Chris “picked” Alana over Jessenia and revealed he wanted to leave. Meanwhile, Alana didn’t want to exit together in a committed relationship because she didn’t get to explore other options. But she was worried about having no friends if she stayed. So Chris and Alana decided to leave Bachelor in Paradise separately, even taking different cars to confirm they didn’t stay together.

Is Alana Milne still dating or back together with Chris Conran now after ‘Bachelor in Paradise’

Chris and Alana’s relationship was short-lived on Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, and many fans have been wondering whether they are still dating or back together now. Then Alana revealed everything that happened after filming the show on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.

When speaking with The Bachelorette’s Becca Kufrin, Alana shared that she initially “blamed” Chris for taking away her BIP experience. Chris also apologized after the show, but they didn’t talk again until she eventually forgave him.

Alana also confirmed that she’s gone on a few dates with Chris since leaving the show separately. But when Becca asked whether she was officially dating Chris now, Alana was hesitant to answer. Alana said:

“[Chris] was so apologetic, and he’s been a really big support system for me because not a lot of people from the show have been. … He’s taken me on a bunch of dates. I have to be honest. I’m very scared to talk about it because I feel like it’ll look a certain way. But the fact is we weren’t dating before, and that’s the truth that I have to share.”

Still speaking on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Alana continued to clear up the rumors surrounding her relationship with Chris before Bachelor in Paradise

“Chris and I had never been on a date before the show,” Alana said. “We never hooked up, nothing like that. It was strictly a friendship, group setting.”

Becca and Alana also suggested that the Bachelor in Paradise cast was on edge because of the dating rumors surrounding Brendan Morais and Pieper James. Then Alana explained why her situation with Chris was different.

“I think the main thing that shows the difference is that I came into it excited to see Chris but still wanting to explore things with other people,” she said. “That was not how Brendan and Pieper were going to carry through with the rest of their experience.”

Alana added, “I had no plan with Chris. We were friends. That was it.”
