Both Becca and Tia dated Arie Luyendyk Jr. on The Bachelor Season 22, and the two women made it pretty far. Tia was eliminated in week 8. Then Becca initially won Arie’s final rose. But he dumped her in the finale for runner-up Lauren Burnham.

Meanwhile, Becca became the lead for The Bachelorette Season 14. She picked and got engaged to Garrett Yrigoyen. But Becca and Garrett split in 2020.

Tia also returned to the ABC reality franchise. But she came back for Bachelor in Paradise Season 5, and she dated Colton Underwood from The Bachelor Season 23. Colton and Tia also broke up on the summer series.

Now, Tia and Becca are both looking for new love, and they came back in Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 Episode 5. When speaking with Ivan Hall, Becca revealed she returned because she was trying to be more of a “yes woman,” and she was available. Then Tia shared that she wanted to meet someone because she was ready to get engaged.

Meanwhile, Becca and Tia shared more details about their Bachelor in Paradise comeback during the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. At first, both reality stars revealed that they joined the BIP cast last minute.

“It took a lot of convincing for both of us,” Becca said. “Tia and I — probably for three or four weeks, almost a month — were going back and forth like, ‘Do we do this? Do we say yes?’ We literally waited until the last minute to be like, ‘OK, if you do it, I’ll do it. Book our flights!’”

Tia added, “I signed the contract and flew out the next day. That’s how close it was.”

Then Becca shared what convinced her to come back for Bachelor in Paradise.

“It took a lot of convincing, honestly,” she said. “If Tia wouldn’t have done it and if some of our friends who work on the show behind-the-scenes weren’t there, there’s no way in hell you could have convinced me to go on the beach.”

Becca continued, “This is my first full summer in LA, I’m gonna live in my place. I’m in the process of buying a house. It was not something that was on either of our radars. But it happened.”

For now, Bachelor Nation fans will have to watch how Becca and Tia’s storylines unfold in Bachelor in Paradise Season 7. But at the very least, it seems Becca doesn’t regret her decision to return.

“Out of every show I’ve done between Bachelor, Bachelorette, and Paradise, Paradise was the most fun,” Becca said. “For as hesitant as we were, it was so worth it. It was the best time. I have no regrets. I’m so happy we were both there.”

She added, “Obviously, when we were in the midst of the situation, the drama, and everything that was going on, it was a lot. … But I’m glad I did it.”
