Most stars go on Bachelor in Paradise hoping to boost public perception of themselves. Brendan Morais went on Bachelor in Paradise and did the exact opposite. In fact, he probably did the worst thing you can do, which is admitting that you are on the show for the wrong reasons. On top of that, he made some pretty sexist comments about contestant Natasha Parker. Now, he has lost a sponsorship because of his actions.

What comments did Brendan Morais make on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’?

To understand Brendan’s downfall, it’s important to have context on what exactly he did. When Brendan came on the show, he connected with Natasha. As they started getting closer, people confronted Brendan about his rumored relationship with Pieper James. He insisted that he had only casually seen Pieper before Paradise and continued getting to know Natasha. However, when Pieper actually came to the beach, it was clear that Brendan had just been bidding his time until she arrived.

Natasha confronted Brendan when everything went down.

“The difference is if you were honest and said ‘[We have a] strong connection, strong feelings,’ I would have definitely explored other [bonds], 100 percent,” she said “But you said that you guys hung out twice, she said 10 times. If you say it’s two times, she says it’s 10 times. Like Brendan, that’s a lie.”

“The core of the issue is, is that I feel like you’re a liar,” Natasha continued.

Brendan dug himself a deeper hole when he said that Natasha had no other prospects on the beach and referred to women who were angry at him as a “mob of disgruntled females.” He also gaslit Natasha several times by saying that they remembered the events that happened differently.

NordicTrack lets Brendan Morais go

Just last month, Brendan did a sponsored post on Instagram for NordicTrack.

“What’s going on everyone? I’m sure you guys are wondering why I’m in such great shape,” he said while sitting on the bike. He then did a workout on the bike to show everyone how the classes worked.

“The NordicTrack S22i studio cycle is an incredible interactive workout that keeps me pedaling! This amazing machine has toned up my already ripped legs,” he captioned the post.

That will probably be the last post he makes bragging about NordicTrack as the brand has since let him go.

“NordicTrack is no longer doing business with Brendan and any further business plans have been terminated,” a source close to the company told The Sun. “His behavior does not align with the brand’s values.

Brendan apologizes for ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ actions

Since leaving Bachelor in Paradise, Brendan has been steadily losing followers. He recently took to Instagram to apologize.

“I just wanted to take a quick second and speak on what transpired in Paradise, hopefully give a little bit of context and clarity to the situation,” he said in a seven-minute video. “But most importantly, I wanted to apologize to you, Natasha. I never meant to hurt you, I never meant to lead you on. I truthfully and honestly enjoyed spending time with you.”

He insisted that he was not on the show to increase his Instagram following and closed out by apologizing again.

“I just want everyone to know that I acknowledge where I went wrong and I need to continue to work on myself as a man and learn and try to be a better person,” he said. “I know that I’m a good person, I know I’m a good man, but I need to continue to grow and that’s that.”
