‘Bachelor in Paradise’: Could Joe Amabile Become the Next Bachelor?
Joe Amabile is back trying to find love, but it might be hard. The first episode of Bachelor in Paradise showed him struggling because of his past. There is already a theory that he could be the next bachelor and here are the reasons why.

Joe Amabile returned to ‘Bachelor in Paradise’
Joe previously went on season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise. There he met Kendall Long and the season ended with them going their separate ways. But they decided to try again after the season and they moved in together. Sadly, they broke up again because Joe didn’t want to live in L.A.
He’s back again for the latest season to find someone new. He talked about struggling and wanting to go home.
“I’m thinking like what am I doing here?” Joe explained. “I don’t wanna be here to hang out so unless I actually meet somebody that I’m really interested in I just don’t see the point of staying. Do I want to go through all of this again? I just don’t know. I don’t know if I’m up for it right now to be honest.”
Joe was seen spending a lot of time alone on the beach looking sad. He also told Wells Adams that it has been hard being back to the place where he met Long.
The episode ended with him having another conversation with Serena Pitt. They then kissed so it looks like he might find love again after all.
Could Joe Amabile become the next bachelor?
Fans have seen men struggle with heartbreak on Bachelor in Paradise. They have also seen formerly disliked contestants become more likable on the show and become the next bachelor. That was the case for Nick Viall.
Viall revealed on Viall Files that he thinks someone is getting the edit to become the next bachelor. “Wells [Adams] was on here recapping, and he mentioned that he thought someone could get a bachelor edit from Paradise,” he said. “I’m almost certain that must be Grocery Store Joe from what we’re seeing in episode 1.”
It’s not hard to see the reason why. Fans already loved Joe from his very short time on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette. He also competed in Dancing with the Stars because he was so well-liked.
But there is still a lot that could happen that could disprove this theory. He could end the season with Serena P. The teasers have also shown he’ll have to face Kendall once again which could possibly lead to romance. The next bachelor has yet to be announced, but if Joe ends the season single and heartbroken again. Fans would probably root for him to be the next star.
