On Oct. 5, ABC will finally air the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 finale, and the ABC reality series keeps dropping major clues in the promo trailers. So what’s next for the BIP cast in the final episode? We already know there’s plenty of heartbreak on the way. But it’s possible the Bachelor in Paradise finale preview just spoiled an engagement — here’s our breakdown.

[Spoiler alert: This article contains spoilers from Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 Episodes 10 and 11.]

New ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ finale preview highlights all the tears

The Bachelor in Paradise finale preview via YouTube picks up where the previous episode left off. At the end of Paradise Prom in episode 10, Noah Erb broke up with Abigail Heringer. The split was shocking, especially to Abigail. Then in the new promo, Mari Pepin-Solis and Serena Pitt walk their friend out of the party.

The moment causes the rest of the BIP cast to realize the show is coming to an end, and things start to get serious. New arrival Anna Redman — who connected with James Bonsall — speaks with producers, and she’s in tears. Then James is seen walking off the beach. So are James and Anna headed for a breakup in the finale? It’s obvious the couple isn’t ready for engagement, particularly because they just met in the last episode.

Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian have a discussion about their future

As the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 finale promo continues, Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian have a serious discussion about their future on the beach. Riley says he’s been thinking whether “this is something we want to continue.” But rather than cutting to Maurissa’s reaction on the beach, the Bachelor in Paradise promo jumps to Maurissa crying while she’s getting ready inside.

Now, it seems like the trailer wants us to think Riley and Maurissa are headed for a breakup in the finale. But it’s suspicious the BIP preview didn’t reveal Maurissa’s genuine reaction if they really split on the beach. So at this point, we really don’t know whether Maurissa’s tears are happy or sad. But given Riley and Maurissa’s strong relationship throughout the season, it seems more likely the couple stays together at the end of the show.

‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 7 Episode 11 promo hints why Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs might break up

The Bachelor in Paradise finale preview spent quite a bit of time focusing on Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs. Fans watched the couple’s romance blossom midway through the season. But the reality stars eventually faded into the background, especially in comparison to couples like Maurissa and Riley as well as Mari Pepin-Solis and Kenny Braasch.

Meanwhile, the new Bachelor in Paradise promo suggests that Thomas and Becca are headed toward splitsville. Becca is also the one who seemingly initiates the breakup.

“I’m having this internal battle,” Becca says. “I feel like you’re too good to be true.”

Thomas cries in front of Becca and tells her that he doesn’t want her to leave Paradise with a “what if.” Then later, Becca runs after Thomas, and the reality stars kiss. Could this be a reconciliation or a final goodbye? We’ll just have to wait and see. Either way, we’re pretty sure the uncertainty in the preview indicates  Becca and Thomas won’t get engaged in the BIP finale. But even without a proposal, it’s still possible they decided to keep dating after the show.

Kendall Long comes back and possibly interrupts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt’s engagement in the ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Season 7 finale

Somehow, the Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 Episode 11 promo trailer gets even more dramatic. Midway through the finale teaser, Kendall Long — who already left the show — walks down the beach. Then the preview jumps to a shot of Joe Amabile, and it looks like he has an engagement ring for Serena. So is Kendall interrupting a proposal between Serena and Grocery Store Joe?

Of course, the Bachelor in Paradise editors could be playing a mean trick on fans. It’s entirely possible Kendall and Joe speak and find some closure before the finale. However, the trailer shows Kenny and Mari looking down at Kendall walking toward Joe, and it certainly looks like he’s standing where the final roses are handed out.

In all honesty, we’re floored about the Kendall-Joe-Serena situation in the Bachelor in Paradise preview. If Serena and Joe plan on getting engaged, it seems almost inappropriate for the producers to bring Kendall back. So while Joe and Serena have remained strong throughout the whole season, this ending doesn’t look good.

The last moments of the Bachelor in Paradise finale preview focus on the drama with Serena, Joe, and Kendall. So it’s entirely possible you missed a potential spoiler.

As mentioned, Mari and Kenny watch Kendall as she walks toward Joe on the beach. But as Mari fixes her hair with her left hand, an engagement ring is clearly shown on her finger. Then upon closer inspection, Kenny is wearing a rose on his shirt. So it seems likely Mari and Kenny will get engaged in the BIP finale.

The Bachelor in Paradise Season 7 finale looks extraordinarily dramatic. The preview for the Oct. 5 episode teased one major engagement and more breakups ahead. So get ready. This one’s going to be a rollercoaster.
